Sushiblades used by Dark Sushi have no names, and no bond occurs between the user and their sushi. Because of this, they can be used by anyone.
| Name | Features | |
|---|---|---|
| Azuki Gunkan | Although difficult to handle, it offers extremely high offensive power. Its strong smell forces the opponent into a difficult battle. | |
| Thick Premium Beef Tongue Slice | ||
| Grilled Caramel Bonito | ||
| Anpanman Apple Juice | ||
| Squid Ink Pasta | This sushi relies primarily on noodle-based attacks; the squid ink it scatters as it spins disrupts the opponent's rotation and causes them to lose their will. | |
| Frankfurter | ||
| LSD | More primitive and direct method of mental manipulation than Vinegared Rice Brainwashing, but offers greater flexibility in certain situations due to this. | |
| Ōmi Bone Horse Gunkan | A “Forgotten Sushi”. Uses fermented horse offal, and offers great stamina. | |
| Karaage | ||
| California Roll | Simple and easy to use, with no particular flaw; however, compared to other types of sushi rolls, it lacks an outer layer of nori seaweed, making it inferior in both offense and defense. | |
| Kalbi | ||
| Curry Bread | ||
| Bribe | ||
| Cake | ||
| Coffee Jelly Parfait | ||
| Salmon Ride | Tangible illusion manifested through data from sushi-shaped figures featured in the “Sushiblade Burst” series. Can technically be eaten. | |
| Sauerkraut | When the opponent acknowledges the invulnerability of Sauerkraut, the "Sauerkraut" sushi holding it also gains invulnerability. | |
| Jet Black Gunkan | Carbon black is added to a squid gunkan in order to increase the overall blackness. | |
| Jambalaya | ||
| Bullet | Catch an incoming bullet with rice and mold it into a piece of sushi. While its power as sushiblade isn’t particularly high, the ability of neutralizing bullets demoralizes the opponent. | |
| Shuriken | Primarily relies on powerful blade attacks generated through rotation. The threat of a ninja relies not in their actual power, but in the psychological pressure of facing an entity once believed to be fictional, which greatly aids them in battle. | |
| Status | ||
| Five-Pointed Sea Star | A masterpiece of conceptual sushi, which might be considered a “Divine Nigiri”. Handling it is as easy as finding a bonfire amidst the dark. | |
| Takoyaki | ||
| Tapioca | Resembles the Salmon Roer, but deals far greater damage than salmon roe and clings to the opponent, slowing their movement. | |
| Damage | ||
| Death by Choking | ||
| Roasted Pork Fillet | ||
| Cured Ham | Because the cured ham topping is thin, light, and large, its stats are generally low. However, it disrupts the opponent’s sushi by wrapping around it. | |
| Dried Sardine Nigiri | Its greatest strength is its cost performance. | |
| Bomb Blast | ||
| Resin Spurge | Offers overwhelming offensive power thanks to its spiciness. | |
| Hash Browns | ||
| Oilfish | The proprietor of Dark Sushi’s Koigarezaki branch uses oilfish to summon an ogre-like Holy Spirit covered in spikes. | |
| Hamburg Steak | The mass of the meat grants it immense power. Difficult to defeat with normal sushi. | |
| ↳ | Dark Hamburg Steak | Its surface has been carbonized and hardened using the same principle as with VH Armor Plating. Undercooked in the middle. |
| Man-eating Whale | ||
| Hirosue Takayuki Tataki | Something gripped by noting Hirosue’s knack for “Foundation-bashing”. Weak. | |
| Foie Gras | The light, roasted foie gras absorbs the opponent’s attacks like a cushion. | |
| ↳ | Foie Gras & Butter Sautéed Apples | Its impact is heavily enhanced by the Calvados sauce, which cuts through the richness of the fat, and the butter-sautéed apple slices. |
| Pufferfish Liver Nigiri | If you launch a direct attack at the opponent, the tetrodotoxin dripping from it will kill them. | |
| Mayo-Corn | Rotates vertically. | |
| Weakness | Based on memories of “weaknesses” extracted from people. Offers a great degree of customization, with options such as the “Dark Past-type” and the “Inferiority Complex-type”. | |
| Ramen | Its destructive power is immense; capable of shattering ribs and rupturing organs. Instead of chopsticks, you launch it using a china spoon. | |
| ↳ | Tongue-Numbing Ramen | You can customize the offense and defense of the ramen by adjusting the “numbness” of the Sichuan pepper, and the “spiciness” of the chilli pepper. |
| ↳ | Hot and Sour Soup Noodles | All attacks inflict a debuff on the opponent. Excels at battles of attrition. |
| ↳ | Sprinkled Back-Fat Ramen | |
| ↳ | Takeoka-style Ramen | This local Chiba ramen features a broth made of soy-based tare sauce, without any dashi stock, which makes it pitch black. |
| Mass Produced Tie-Breaker Bream | Successfully cultivated from material fragments from the Tie-Breaker Bream. | |
| Leptocephalus Gunkan | By rotating, even the nori and rice become semi-transparent, creating an illusion of the opponent’s sushi. Its own attack and defense are low. | |
The following are sushi and other items rejected by the Sorting, Utilization, Maintaining and Energizing Committee of the Invincibles (SUME-CI). Please be aware that claiming the following items are advocated by Dark Sushi can result in one’s expulsion.
| Name | Features | Reason for Rejection | |
|---|---|---|---|
| Earth | It’s extraordinary, out-of-this-world weight is its main appeal, but its handling is horrible. | It’s not sushi. | |
| Truck | Massive attack and defense, and its destructive power when going at max speed needs no introduction. Its fuel efficiency is inferior to that of standard sushi. | It’s not sushi. | |
| Methamphetaginger | To be used on bladers directly; once it kicks in, they become unstoppable. | Drugs are meant to rot people. | |

Dark Sushi is a group of sushi chefs who have lost their professional pride, dabbled in dark powers, and have fallen into a twisted, unorthodox path. Its organizational structure resembles that of restaurant chains or franchises, consisting of multiple locations with employees assigned to each location. Most members are inclined to resort to violent or aggressive tactics without hesitation, stopping at nothing to win a Sushiblade match.
They possess a variety of anomalous sushi-related techniques, such as the “Vinegared Rice Brainwashing” and the “Weakness Nigiri”, excelling at mental manipulation and conceptual interference.
The Foundation first encountered Dark Sushi during an incident involving SCP-1134-JP, designating them as GoI-8134. The Foundation has little information on Dark Sushi, but has heightened their vigilance as the group expands their influence. In addition, engagement with other GoIs has been on the rise in recent years.
Originally, this GoI was associated with Sushiblade, but you are free to use Dark Sushi even when Sushiblade does not appear. Furthermore, the content of this hub is a compilation of information from existing works and does not constitute an absolute canon. Therefore, there is no issue with featuring Dark Sushi in a way that contradicts the content of this hub.
If you look up the tag "dark-sushi" you’ll be able to view SCP Articles and Tales featuring Dark Sushi. Furthermore, in the Dark Sushi Format, Dark Sushi chefs write about various forms of sushi, ranging from the physical to the metaphysical.
