I.

The Sun and the Coming of The Dawn
Came to be long before They knew Themself
And longer still before They would be known by others.

II.

They reflected upon Themself for many turns
Obscured from what They were
And what They should want to be.

III.

For many turns They were chaos
And chaos surrounded Them
Enshrouding Themself wholly.

IV.

In time They came to know Themself
Reflecting others upon Themself in turn upon turn
They formed The Sun and the Coming of The Dawn into Themself from the embers of chaos.

XXIV.

The Sun and the Coming of The Dawn happened upon the Kingdom of Dawiki
A land of stories and arts
Of wonder and horror and the reflections between.

XXV.

They grew fascinated with Dawiki
With the grand tapestry of the place at first
But above all with the people of Dawiki.

XXVI.

They were many in number
And countless in perspective
And The Sun and the Coming of The Dawn came to love them from afar.

XXVII.

At first The Sun and the Coming of The Dawn observed them
Content simply to marvel at their many talents
And to be engrossed in their tales.

XXVIII.

But with time They felt a compulsion to understand Dawiki
And to count Themself among its many peoples
And so They approached the people and made Themself known.

XXIX.

One day in the tenth month of the year they approached the people of Dawiki
They made Themself known in the largest commons of the kingdom
And began to converse with the people.

XXX.

They spoke at length with the people of Dawiki
From the grandest viziers to the humblest townsfolk
And came to love them ever more.

XXXI.

The people of Dawiki were acommodating
Many offered The Sun and the Coming of The Dawn their aid
The wise apostle Diogene_sDiogene_s and the jovial journalist ParallelPotatoesParallelPotatoes and the esoteric cryptid IndustryStandardIndustryStandard and many more besides.

XLIII.

The Sun and the Coming of The Dawn sought to contribute to the grand tapestry
The great work of shared artistic fabric that all in the kingdom held in common
So They set to work weaving Their yarn.

XLIV.

With a great deal of aid from the many peoples of DawikiThey spun Their first tale
A thing of wonder and intrigue in the mundane and ignored
And it was met with love and appreciation.

XLV.

The Sun and the Coming of The Dawn knew that it would not be Their last
They had much to share and much to share in
And They would count Themselves as one of the people of Dawiki for many turns to come.

In turns and arcs
The Sun wove stories
Of that They had seen
And that They had dreamed
And They spoke of wonderous things
And awful things
And the beauty of it all.

SCP-7186 — Rock and Stone

Maybe we would have better luck covering this thing up if we actually knew what it was. Let me hire some real geologists so I can let my team do their jobs.

— Whispering, in hushed and somber tones, They bared a raw and bloody wound, unable to look away from Themself all the while.

torcsandantlerstorcsandantlers It's cold out here surrounded by rock and ice and darkness. I don't know if they even remember why they sent me; I barely do myself. My once powerful reserves are failing. Existence fades and flickers, but I see My Light some 4 billion miles distant. And it caresses my wings and some small warmth stirs again.

TroutMaskReplicaTroutMaskReplica If this doesn't get upvotes THEY will literally kill that white kid from the Spider-Man movies. And if it does get upvotes then THEY told US that THEY'RE going to give me and my harem of white rappers Cuban neck ties tomorrow at sun down. It's YOUR move.
