My first ever article! It wasn’t originally planned as a contest entry, but during the drafting stage, 9KCon started. I got so excited by the hype that I decided to turn it into one. It ended up being an incredible success, placing in the top 20. I’m still baffled and thrilled by the result.
The journey of this article was a wild ride. If anyone were to see the first draft of this article, it would be utterly unrecognizable compared to the final version. It spent around a month and a half in extensive drafting, during which I worked on it almost every free moment. I not only learned a lot about writing, but also about CSS (somewhat).
I have to once again thank all of the critters who helped me with this. Without them, this article would not be possible. Through all of the crit, I also made some great friends in the community, which I’m incredibly thankful for. This piece will undeniably hold a piece of my heart for everything that happened because of it.

My second article! I got the idea for this one while riding the tram to uni. I knew then that I had to write it, and had the first draft ready within 48 hours. Of course, it still sat in the draft stage for a couple of weeks. The themes of this piece are very personal to me, so I wanted to make sure everything was to the best of my ability. I'm very proud of this one.

My (proper) third article! This one was a quite an interesting one to write. My first try at writing something "horror"/scary to some extent. It went through five different versions and many changes, all while creating some memes that will be forever tied to me. It was still fun though, as I really enjoyed writing an unreliable narrator. Overall, I'm really happy with how this turned out! Now we can finally answer the question… What if you were cold?

My fourth article and my second contest entry! This was made for dumbcon. Even though it's not an official event, I wanted to participate because I found the premise fun. I also wanted to challenge myself even further by not leaning into comedy at all, no matter what prompt I get. Well, I ended up receiving the prompt "Reincarnating blue colored clown mobsters", which is a pretty good prompt and I was pretty happy about it. While the drafting was a little rough, I like what this eventually turned into. Overall, I had fun with the contest and enjoyed my participation.

I really tried to make something that I never have before and I absolutely love the end result. Hopefully this finally lets me beat the one trick pony allegations.

My first ever tale! I had a bunch of fun writing this. I'm a big fan of the old americana/wild west type of atmosphere, so I wanted to write something like this for quite a bit now. I finally got around to it! This whole piece came to be pretty much solely because I found the first image for it while scrolling through wikimedia commons, and just couldn't get it out of my head. What a ride this one has been. I wanted to write something with a strong focus on worldbuilding, as I hadn’t really done that before. This article originally started as something very different, but it didn’t quite land. I then thought that having a full-on fake website would be a cool idea, and the rest developed from there. This was really fun to work on. Not only the worldbuilding and format aspects, but I also really enjoyed creating the website itself. A lot of my original inspiration came from tornado alerts and procedures. It then blended with a bunch of other elements, from airplane to hurricane safety.
I really felt like this piece could use some proper visual elements, so I decided to commission GraveCreations for procedure and safety images. I have to say, what an amazing job Grave did. He was able to capture the unsettling and horrifying reality of this world so well, and the article wouldn’t be nearly as effective without his art. Massive props!!!
I also have to thank all of you for the incredibly positive reception this article has received. It has become a total winner, which I’m still astounded by. Your messages mean a lot to both me and Grave!
