Special Containment Procedures:
Canon Medical Systems production facilities have been placed under concentrated monitoring. Agents are to remain on high alert for necessary collection or suppression of imaging systems across the states of New York, Rhode Island, Connecticut, Massachusetts, Maine, Ne Hampshire, and Vermont. Collected images must be transported and stored in Site-13's file wing. collected MRI machines must be incin rated.

Description:
SCP-699 is a series of MRI machines which ha e continuously produced abnormal imaging during routine x-ray operations. A majority of these images appear to be of digital environments o devices capable of reproducing them; these are entirely disconnec ed from the memory of the subject, and are likely coming from a source affecting the machines themselves. This source has not been located—tracing attempts have proved fruitless, likely because they are caused by wider anomalous influence; however, it may also be due to the signals arising from a deleted source.

SCP-699 events have been incr asing in frequency ince late 2018, reaching a statistical peak in May of 2019 and dipping slowly over time. It is likely SCP-699 will become entirely neutralized by December of 2025, rendering further containment unnecessary. This file is set to b archived following that date, barring further developments.
