Special Containment Procedures: There are currently no known means to actively contain SCP-L363 or SCP-L363-Ψ instances without utilizing SCP-L363 itself. However, the distribution of SCP-L363 is currently limited by the gravitational properties of SCP-L363-Χ, and further containment is not believed to be urgently necessary.
Description: SCP-L363 is a phenomenon in which sapient living individuals are able to use their thoughts, consciously and/or unconsciously, in order to control or influence matter. This most frequently is applied directly to components of the individual's anatomy, and indirectly to other objects made from biological and/or non-biological material.
The fundamental principles which allow SCP-L363 to exist are still very poorly understood. Most individuals who make use of SCP-L363 (collectively designated SCP-L363-Ψ) are able to utilize the phenomenon without any knowledge or active awareness. While it is known that SCP-L363 is dependent on kinetic casual interactions at minimum, there is no current consensus on how the translational mechanism functions.
Matter that has been influenced by SCP-L363 most frequently experiences changes in position and/or velocity, but a number of other changes are common, including shape, chemical composition and temperature. It is not yet possible to distinguish the influence of SCP-L363 from changes made via non-anomalous means.
Most instances of SCP-L363-Ψ become dependent on the phenomenon in order to perform many commonplace tasks, including those needed for independent survival. Those who lose the ability to use SCP-L363 typically must rely on the assistance of others, and in most cases other SCP-L363-Ψ instances.
Practically 100% of observed SCP-L363 events have been in the immediate proximity of a single planet (designated SCP-L363-Χ), and all known SCP-L363-Ψ instances originated on the surface of this planet. No other exceptional or unique anomalous characteristics have been detected in regards to SCP-L363-Χ, which varies only within the typical range of physical factors like mass, chemical composition and orbital radius.
