Special Containment Procedures: SCP-L006 is uncontainable. Newly recorded footage is to be extracted within 5 days. Personnel designated as SCP-L006-1 are to be thanked for their service.

Description: SCP-L006 is a Filmasonic R200 DVD Video Camera. It is visually indistinguishable from non-anomalous models except for large scratches on its underside and the replacement of the SD card slot with a USB-C port. This port is currently the only way to access footage taken by SCP-L006. The disc compartment cannot be opened.

An L006-Tragoedia Event begins when SCP-L006 grows out of the right hand of an individual designated SCP-L006-1. There is no pattern to how SCP-L006-1 is selected. SCP-L006-1 expresses no distress during this process, and is compliant with all examination and questioning. No trialled method has damaged, turned off or separated SCP-L006 from SCP-L006-1.

Ten days after the start of the Event, SCP-L006-1 displays heightened paranoia and health anxiety. On day 60, SCP-L006-1 will use SCP-L006 to film its death.

Screen reads: "Video 1 U784562". SCP-L006-1 is filming a tornado touching down in a field. Indistinguishable voices can briefly be heard in the background as the tornado picks up speed. The footage cuts to SCP-L006-1 driving closer to the tornado, which is now a grey mass taking up most of the screen. Loud wind from the tornado can be heard. The footage cuts again and the tornado is closer and moving directly toward SCP-L006-1. A static transition occurs showing a nearly dark screen. The footage is shaking and the wind is overwhelming loud. The screen cuts to black and text appears that reads "Video 2 U19871534."

Video 2 U19871534 begins with SCP-L006-1 moving rapidly through the water. It's difficult to see due to the murkiness of the water. A long cable extends from somewhere behind SCP-L006, past them and disappears into the water. A shark appears and leaps out of the water before diving back into the water, much closer to SCP-L006-1. The footage freezes briefly on the shark with its mouth open looking at SCP-L006-1. The screen cuts to black and text appears that reads "Video 3 U14854."

SCP-L006-1 is filming a close-up shot of the moon. The sounds of distant people and vehicles can be heard. It zooms out, showing SCP-L006-1 is on a balcony overlooking a car park. The lights of buildings and infrastructure can be seen beyond the car park. A gun shot is heard and the footage cuts to the black. On the screen is the text "Video 4 U189136545169842684984."

Video 4 shows SCP-L006-1 walking through a graveyard. The calls of birds can be heard all around it. As it walks through a pergola, it suddenly turns around. A static sound is heard until it turns back around and continue walking toward a small structure. Inside the structure is a fountain and statues of religious figures in glass cases. SCP-L006-1 films them until it turns rapidly to its left, then right. The static sound returns and remains until it leaves the structure. SCP-L006-1 picks up speed as the static grows louder. There is a static transition as the sound continues to increase in volume. The screen transitions to black.

The screen reads: "Video 5 1.07.2026. Cognitohazard censored by Strikeout.AIC." The footage begins with the visuals obscured. The sounds of animals, footsteps and the SCP-L006 itself are heard. The cover is taken off the SCP-L006's lens, revealing a close up of a bush. SCP-L006 is raised to film over the top of the bush. It films a roof, on which the cognitohazard (replaced by Strikeout.AIC as a black rectangle) is standing on. The footage is shaky and zooms in and out. The black square disappears and SCP-L006 is turned to follow it. It's now much closer to SCP-L006-1. There is a cut and SCP-L006-1 is coughing up blood as the footage glitches and a static noise intercuts with the coughing.

The video ends on a black screen showing the SCP Foundation logo.
