Topic: SCP-CN-2626
<Begin Recording>
Dr. Panagiotopolous: You should all have already read the report. The main problem now is how to deal with SCP-CN-2626 — on the surface, it's a probabilistic anomaly, but the report given to us by the Department of Analytics indicated that SCP-CN-2626 is responsible for all random events; that's the biggest problem.
Dr. Forkley: All random events?
Dr. McDoctorate: That's right.
Dr. Panagiotopolous: Here's the thing. Looking at it from a narratological perspective, the fact that randomly occurring events are an anomaly in our universe is not hard to understand. You can look at Researcher S. A. Swann's sandwich model: all our actions are the work of beings in higher narrative levels, so all random events is not much of a stretch.
Silence
Dr. Panagiotopolous: But things don't always end up this way. The authors don't have the time or the patience to write out every little detail, but the universe from our perspective is continuous — in the blanks where nothing is written, we have the freedom to do as we please. In other words, whatever is not written by the authors is automatically filled in by the universe.
Dr. Veleafer: I understand. The Department of Deduction has dealt with similar phenomena. We call it "automatic filler".
Dr. McDoctorate: To use your words, SCP-CN-2626 is that "automatic filler".
Dr. Henry: If I may interrupt, Director Panagiotopolous, was this meeting called to develop containment procedures for SCP-CN-2626?
Dr. Panagiotopolous uses their projector to display the cover of a proposal, drawing the attention of all participants.
Dr. Panagiotopolous: I called this meeting to discuss a proposal for cooperation between our departments. SCP-CN-2626 allows us valuable freedom. We should make the best of it.

Project Gyakuten Document (Excerpt)
Abstract: Further research into SCP-CN-2626 reveals that reality does not directly follow from the narratives written by the "horror writer" entities. In theory, though we may not be able to break the "fourth wall" using SCP-CN-2626's anomalous properties, it is possible that it allows us to escape the control of the authors.
Project Gyakuten aims to take advantage of SCP-CN-2626's properties to achieve control/avoidance of certain established facts using unfinished narratives. Led by the Pataphysics Department, the Department of Miscommunications, Department of Deduction, and Department of Logic play important roles.
Group Discussion Minutes:
Dr. Forkley: What exactly do you need the Department of Miscommunications for in this project? Admittedly, we do have some conceptual anomalies, but SCP-CN-2626 doesn't seem to impede communication.
Dr. McDoctorate: Patience, Eli. Penny is drafting a proposal for our first test, and the Department of Miscommunications will be the most integral part of it. I don't know the specifics, but as far as I know this relates to the Legal Department.
Dr. Forkley:Oh god, don't tell me this is a semiohazard.
Dr. Veleafer: We have reproduced the basic tree structure of the core. However, because of technical limitations, we may not be able to reproduce the entire process. I've handed over the rationalization work to Henry.
Dr. Panagiotopolous: Good. Once the core structure has been completed, we can very quickly start on the first test. If it succeeds, it means we won't have any further problems.
Dr. Panagiotopolous: The performer has been selected, it should be—
Dr. Forkley: We're doing it from our end. Mosley Hamilas, from the Legal Department, is waiting for us at the testing area.
Dr. Panagiotopolous: Alright, in that case, McDoctorate shall debug the startup program and we'll start very soon.
Current Progress
Attempt-Gyakuten-001:
This test is centered on a tree-like narrative structure and uses SCP-CN-2626 as a guide to induce narrative direction.
