Special Containment Procedures: SCP-9047-1 is kept in a 5mx5mx5m titanium room, somewhat made accurate to its natural habitat. It is currently kept at Site-58 to be researched by the Cryptozoology Division. It is given 20kg of assorted raw meats to eat weekly. SCP-9047-2 instances must be terminated.
Description: SCP-9047-1 is an Alligator mississippiensis that was discovered in Lisbon, Portugal, approximately 7,000km from their natural habitat. SCP-9047-1 is sapient and capable of thought and speech in any language. Its body has numerous cut and stab wounds of unknown origin, and is missing an eye, being enough to kill any non-anomalous individual, including its species, nothing has been discovered that can do harm to it.
Any individual within a 15m radius of SCP-9047-1 who says the name of any hand-to-hand weapon will start to feel a connection to the object they said, affecting them by SCP-9047-1's anomalous affects. Affected individuals are referred to as SCP-9047-2, and cannot be cured. Any attempt to do so gives the SCP-9047-2 instance the same wounds as SCP-9047-1, before shortly dying. SCP-9047-1 is known to try and coax everyone speaking to it to say the name of a hand-to-hand weapon, whether as a word, part of a word, or broken up between words.1
For 3 days after doing so, SCP-9047-2 starts inadvertently refer to themselves as the weapon. After those 3 days, SCP-9047-2 will feel a strong need to carry the weapon with them at all times. After 1 week, SCP-9047-2 will be driven insane. If they do not have the weapon, they will do anything in their power to obtain it, resulting in violent outbursts. If they do have it, they start to use it on anyone they come across. Whenever an SCP-9047-2 dies, their name in any documentation gets replaced with the weapon.
Addendum 9047.1: The following is an interview conducted by Mace and SCP-9047-1 on 8/7/20██.
SCP-9047-1: Hello, sir. What brings you in here today?
Mace: My name is Mace, I'm a new researcher here. I just have a few questions for you, if you could please answer.
SCP-9047-1: Of course. What is it you wish to know?
Mace: What were you doing in the streets of Lisbon? How did you arrive there?
SCP-9047-1: The ocean is a marvelous tool if you know how to use it. I go wherever I please, I had no reason to go to Lisbon. What is anyone doing anywhere?
Mace: How did you survive the ocean with all your damage? How did you get all of these scars in the first place? How old even are you?
SCP-9047-1: Ah, you're an inquisitive one, aren't you? I have been alive for hundreds of years at this point, I've lost count myself. From what I know, nothing can do harm to me anymore. As for how I got my scars, I was attacked. A man with a, oh what was it again, the long um… the name escapes me.
Mace: I may be new, but I'm not falling for your tricks.
SCP-9047-1: I do not believe I am aware of what you mean. What tricks do you speak of, sir?
Mace: I will not answer.
Mace attempts to touch SCP-9047-1 to get a closer look at the scars.
SCP-9047-1 shouts in pain, with a frightened expression.
Mace: Didn't know you could make a face like that. I apologize for making you grimace like that, it won't happen again.
SCP-9047-1: Do not worry. Just give me a moment. Oh, and by the way, what was your name again?
Mace: My name is Ma- wait sorry, no that's not my name. I don't know why I was gonna say my name was…
SCP-9047-1: Oh what was that word you said? What you claimed you made me do?
Mace: Oh, grimace? It's my favorite word, no one else I know uses it, why?
SCP-9047-1: You new ones are always the easiest.
SCP-9047-1 walks away.
Mace sits confused for a moment, before his eyes widen, and starts crying.

Addendum 9047.2: Following the previous addendum, permission was granted to relocate SCP-9047-1 to Site-225, after numerous workers at Site-58 agreed that "this guy's not for us".
