Noah Patel: Hey, everyone. Enjoying your spring breaks?

Tony Catalano: Hey, Noah! Yeah, I’m enjoying mine. I finally had time to go see my grandma.

Leonora Morales: Hey, guys, it’s been a while.

Vincent Bohart: Ohayo, everyone. It’s nice seeing you again! \( ̄︶ ̄*\))

Noah Patel: Alright, well, Tony and Leonora. Tell me what you two have been up to, then we should talk about that funding that Tony mentioned to us. I know it’s kind of annoying to do this on some PTO, but we need to start the discussion sometime.

Tony Catalano: Well, again, I’m just visiting my mom’s parents. How ‘bout you guys? And, yeah, we will talk about it. I’m very sorry for the delay.

Leonora Morales: You’re fine, Tony. I went on a tour with The Fishing Council. The fish were amazing as usual. I think we should all go sometime together.

Noah Patel: Those sound very fun! I’m glad you guys found something to do. For me, eat, sleep, repeat. Plus Jersey.

Vincent Bohart: Very nice, everyone! Would anyone want to hear about what I did? Haha~ (。・∀・)ノ゙

Tony Catalano: So, a bunch of us went to Canada, Jeremy Wade was there too.

Vincent Bohart: C'mon, no one wants to hear what I did? It’s fascinating, I promise! And if you don’t, Ill have to take administrative actions ( ̄︶ ̄)

Noah Patel: …Alright, let’s hear it, Bohart. First off, where did you get those emotes?

Vincent Bohart: My friend in another group chat showed me how to use them! φ(゜▽゜*)♪

Tony Catalano: About family business, did you guys remember my cousin David? I think that kid just had a fight with a raccoon the other day.

Vincent Bohart: (┬┬﹏┬┬)

Noah Patel: Fine. Let’s hear about our forgetful Site Director’s story, then.

Tony Catalano: 👍

Leonora Morales: 👍

Vincent Bohart: Alright, here’s how it went.( ̄︶ ̄)↗

Addendum 1: Discovery

SCP-042-VN was officially discovered on February 28, 2025, by Director Bohart when traveling to Japan during Site-333’s annual spring break, directly encountering the anomaly at Hokkaidō Shrine, Sapporo City, Hokkaido.

Before Bohart's initial interaction, SCP-042-VN was known to the Foundation through its local popularity and influence, but could not be put into containment due to failed cooperative efforts with the Foundation's Japanese Branch, the operations of the GoI "Shūshū-In1'' in the area, and that containment efforts frequently disturbing local residents.

Tony Catalano: I get you wanted to travel lately, but did you really have money to fly to Japan? And why did you go when it was so close to spring break? Did you even get permission for this?

Leonora Morales: Yeah, seriously. I mean, fuck you Vincent, paid off your debt yet?

Vincent Bohart: I had some stuff in my savings, so it was daijoubu.

Noah Patel: So you went to Japan for almost half a month and now you’re starting to use words from there in your everyday vocabulary?! Guys, he's turned into a weeaboo, down bad.

The following recording was taken from Vincent Bohart's hand-held camera.

Summarized Approach Log 27/02/2025

[The camera showed Director Bohart simple business suit, standing in a public park with a row of cherry trees in full bloom behind him.]

Vincent Bohart: [looking at the camera] Hello, my viewers, today I’m going to try vlogging for the first time! And so, I will title it: “This is a day in the life of a miko2”.

Vincent Bohart: So… we are going to visit one of the shrines here in Japan; I heard there are some strange happenings down here… rumor of a car becoming a shrine maiden or something like that. It must be some weird attraction or something, right? Let’s go check it out.

[The video speeds up, showcasing Vincent’s train ride to Hokkaidō Shrine.]

Vincent Bohart: [turns the camera to his face] So now-

[Director Bohart suddenly falls forward, causing the recording to be interrupted.]

Note: Director Bohart refused to comment on what happened following the event, but it can be assumed that he fell onto the stone pathway leading up to the shrine.

Location Background Briefing

Hokkaidō Shrine

hokkaido_shrine.jpg

Hokkaidō Shrine in the winter.

Hokkaidō Shrine (北海道神宮) was designed and constructed in 1869.

Currently, the location is under the control of GoI “Shūshū-In”. According to information provided by the GoI, the shrine is responsible for worshiping and preserving "soul pieces" of 4 kami3, Ōkunitama, Ōkuninushi, Sukunahikona, and Emperor Meiji, after Professor Yutaro Morino’s “Unified Theory” was put into testing in some provinces of Japan. Hokkaidō Shrine is one of the most prestigious establishments in exorcisms, wedding ceremonies, spirit purification and other events related to Shinto.

Name: Tanaka Hiroshi

Background: Hiroshi Tanaka is the fourth Kannushi descendant of Tanaka’s family. He held the role for nearly 20 years even after his wife passed away after she had her two daughters. There were many rumors related to the subject such as "having the power to uproot a giant tree" or "having the power passed down from Abe no Seimei". Besides working at the Hokkaidō Shrine, the subject also participates in many volunteer activities such as donating blood, cooking free community meals for the homeless.

Addendum 3:

The following recording was recorded after an interval when the first one ended:

Summarized Approach Log 27/02/2025

The recording begins with the face of Director Bohart which is scratched and has red rashes.

Vincent Bohart: [takes a breath] Well, after more than half an hour of non-stop walking, I have reached the shrine.

Vincent Bohart: Overall, the shrine is very Japanese, I mean exquisite in a Japanese style? If anyone plays Minecraft and builds some structure like this, they will understand what I’m sayin'.

hokkaido_shrine2.jpg

Picture of Hokkaidō Shrine by Bohart, taken from a tourist.

Vincent Bohart: Hey everyone, I see an old man over there. Looking at the outfit, from what I read online, he's the shrine manager of this place.

[Vincent points to the courtyard, where a man disguises as a priest, is sweeping.]

Vincent Bohart: Now I'll go talk to him.

[Vincent slowly approaches the man.]

Vincent Bohart: Hello shrine manager.

Tanaka Hiroshi: すみません、分からないです.4

Vincent Bohart: Huh? [waves arms] Sorry, don't understand, Japanese language? You understand, I don't know Japanese.

Tanaka Hiroshi: Forgive my joke, I do know English.

Vincent Bohart: Ah, that’s fine. So uh, I'm a YouTuber on my holiday. I heard that this place has a special feature: there's a car which is appointed as the shrine's miko. I want to film it, is that allowed? I'll stay just a few days to film. In return, I can help you with housework as well as attract customers. Is that okay, temple master?

Tanaka Hiroshi: Please forgive me, my dear foreign YouTuber, but Hokkaidō Shrine is a sacred place so I cannot allow outsiders to stay here.

Vincent Bohart: Oh my, but– but–

Note: According to Director Bohart, he had approached and asked the shrine manager to stay and make a documentary film about the lives of miko at the shrine under the guise of a foreign YouTuber to observe and have closer contact with the anomaly. Mr. Tanaka Hiroshi, the current shrine caretaker, consented to this request after more than three hours of discussions with Director Bohart.

Summarized Approach Log 28/02/2025

[The recording begins with a montage depicting local flora and the shrine's outskirts, with a rooster crowing audibly in the background, edited by Director Bohart as the intro.]

[The frame transitions to Director Bohart standing in front of bathroom mirror.]

Vincent Bohart: Hey guys, your beloved YouTuber - Egg-head Adventures is here. Is that a good name for this? [Vincent laughs]

Vincent Bohart: Now uh, I'm just doing a little personal hygiene. [combs his bald head] Being a YouTuber also requires being handsome, y'know. After I finish, imma go have breakfast and then explore this place.

[Vincent looks at his watch.]

Vincent Bohart: Fuckin' hell, already ten AM? I missed my breakfast.

[Video is interrupted by a clip from cartoon TV series SpongeBob SquarePants, displaying the words 'one hour later' accompanied by a voiceover5. Video resumes, displaying the shrine's surroundings.]

Vincent Bohart: [makes air quotes] Now I'm taking a "morning" walk around this place. Since I already have my VIP ticket, I'm the only visitor here. I think the people around here all work in the shrine.

Vincent Bohart: The natural scenery here is so beautiful, but kinda it’s kinda humid here, which sucks. However, the shrine is remarkably clean, blending seamlessly in with everything. However, it’s definitely not as good as my beloved Atlantis City. [Vincent laughs]

Vincent Bohart: There are a lot of trees here but not many leaves fall on the yard. Have to admit that those miko are very hardworking–

[Director Bohart encounters a Miko with SCP-042-VN following.]

Vincent Bohart: [Vincent suddenly cuts himself off, whispering into the camera] Holy shit, I caught it guys. I’ll go try to talk to them!

Vincent Bohart: Konnichiwa, miku-san!

[The Miko turns to face Bohart with a confused expression.]

Miko: Greetings, customer.

Vincent Bohart: A— ah, greeting-

Miko: Are there any problems?

Vincent Bohart: Y– yeah so, I see you have a car following you? I mean like, aren't vehicles banned from the shrine grounds?

Miko: [turns back to looking at the car then covers her mouth with one hand and smiles] Ah, no need to worry about that. Toyo is a member of our shrine.

[SCP-042-VN beeps.]

Vincent Bohart: Oh, th— that's how is it. Understood. So h– how should I address— um Toyo-san?

Miko: Toyo is the youngest sister in our miko group here. She is the most compassionate member, despite her shyness among outsiders. You will eventually become close to her.

[A small “はいはい”6 is heard from the anomaly. However, Vincent doesn’t seem to notice this. The anomaly begins to roll forward, approaching Miko from behind.]

Miko: Oh right, we need to prepare for the afternoon ceremony and welcome other visitors, so please excuse me.

[The Miko then walks out of sight from Vincent with the anomaly. Vincent pauses for a moment before calling out.]

Vincent Bohart: Ah I forgot, my name is Vincent. And you, Miss Miko?

Miko: My name is Keiko, Tanaka Keiko.

[A muffled vocalization is audible from the anomaly's cockpit, resembling "To-yo". After that, both subjects continue walking, and before they are out of sight, the anomaly nudges Miko Keiko in the back, causing her to laugh.]

Vincent Bohart: [wiping sweat from his forehead] Talking to girls these days is so stressful man.

Addendum 5:

Summarized Approach Log 29/02/2025

[The scene begins with Vincent standing and waving at the camera.]

Vincent Bohart: Sup guys, it’s ya boi. Yesterday we got quite a view on the miko car.

Vincent Bohart: However, I haven’t gotten close to her that much, so today's objective is to have a better look.

Vincent Bohart: For now, imma heads to the coffee shop. Might be able to get some useful information here.

hokkaido_shrinecafe.jpg

Hokkaidō Shine’s coffee shop.

Vincent Bohart: This place is quite spacious, and a lot of people came to visit it also. Heading to the counter right now.

[Vincent moves to the counter, where there is an employee currently serving. He moves to the back of the line, behind three people.]

Vincent Bohart: [holds and turns the camera, then starts whispering. The customer’s face has been blurred out.] There’s lots of people here.

[The video runs faster, skipping eight minutes of Vincent's random chat about various topics. Afterward, the line in front of Vincent is cleared out. It’s now his turn to order a drink.]

Vincent Bohart: [looks at the employee] Hello, it is nice to see that there’s a place like this in the middle of the Hokkaidō Shrine. I’m wondering if this shop was made to help the needy, because that is so wholesome and thoughtful that you guys even thought about us being uncomfortable here.

Employee: Uhh, no, we just need the money.

Vincent Bohart: Oh.

[A short pause.]

Vincent Bohart: So, can I get a hot matcha latte please?

Employee: Right away sir.

[Vincent walks and sits down at the furthest table in the corner of the room, where a man is already sitting.]

Vincent Bohart: 'Sup mate, mind if I sit here?

[In front of Vincent is a long-haired, middle-aged man with glasses.]

Guy A: Oh, um, sure sir. But I’m not gonna talk with strangers.

Vincent Bohart: Come on, man. Aren’t we the same? [points to their head] Well, except the hair. What’s with the “Sir” tho?

[Vincent grabs the coffee from the waiter and takes a sip. He then continues.]

Vincent Bohart: By the way, what brings you here? Visiting?

Guy A: Yes, to meet the manager.

{$alt-text}
Personal photo provided by the subject.

Vincent Bohart: So, you’re his relatives?

Guy A: No sir, I’m from Keiko’s school. You know, the oldest Miko here.

Vincent Bohart: Oh, so you are her teacher.

Guy A: No no no no no, I’m her classmate.

[The young man waves his hand in disapproval.]

Vincent Bohart: Wait, for real? You look too damn old for your age, kid. So, what’s your name?

Guy A: Hanma Takeshi, sir.

Vincent Bohart: Takeshi. I’m Vincent. Nice to meet you.

[Vincent offers his hand to Takeshi for a handshake. Takeshi doesn’t respond for three seconds, then suddenly uses both of his hands to grab and strongly shake Vincent’s.]

Hanma Takeshi: I– I’M ALSO GLAD TO MEET YOU SIR.

Vincent Bohart: OUCH OUCH OUCH OUCH OUCH. LET GO PLEASE. YOU'RE GONNA BREAK MY HAND!

[Takeshi lets Vincent's hands go, which makes him fall backward, and has to grab onto the table behind. He tries to pull his shirt toward him to help him get back up, but clumsily pushes Vincent’s coffee onto him.]

Vincent Bohart: DAMMIT MY COFFEE.

Hanma Takeshi: Are you okay sir?

[Takeshi tries to help Vincent get up.]

Vincent Bohart: You better buy me a new one, kid.

Hanma Takeshi: Yes- yes sir.

[Both move toward the counter.]

Vincent Bohart: Hold up. [looks and points toward the menu sign.] Get me that one.

Hanma Takeshi: But, that’s the most expensive one, not the one you ordered.

Vincent Bohart: No "buts" ok? You better buy me back. If not, I'll tell Keiko about this.

Hanma Takeshi: Ok ok I’m doing it, anything but that.

[Takeshi puts his hand into his pocket, grabbing every last penny to pay for the coffee.]

Vincent Bohart: 'cuz you have been a good boy, I’m gonna show you something. Super interesting, I promise you.

Hanma Takeshi: Where— where are we going…

Vincent Bohart: To meet up with the miko.

Hanma Takeshi: Sir, you can’t. They are busy right now, and I think we shouldn’t bother them.

Vincent Bohart: What are you afraid of? We just take a peek, that’s all. No need for a grand conversation or something.

Hanma Takeshi: But- isn’t that being a creep?

Vincent Bohart: No "buts", remember? Come. Trust me, I have a camera right here, YouTuber stuff, you know. Is that enough for ya?

[Vincent moves closer to Takeshi, then he starts whispering.]

Vincent Bohart: FYI, my channel got lots of views. If we got a good scene of their works, we might even attract more visitors. Maybe, Keiko might fall for you over this, you know?

[Takeshi blushes. Vincent notices it, then walks away when he receives his new drink. A few seconds later, Takeshi runs toward him.]

[THE TRANSCRIPT IS CUT UNTIL BOTH HAS ARRIVED AT THE LOCATION.]

[The current scene is a bush, in front of it is the yard of the shrine. SCP-042-VN is sweeping the yard, while a broom is attached to its windshield wiper.]

Vincent Bohart: This looks like a good place.

Hanma Takeshi: If Keiko knows about this, she’s gonna ban me from going here.

Vincent Bohart: Quit yer worrying, I have twenty years of experience on this.

Hanma Takeshi: Haizz, now I’m starting to wonder if you are a YouTuber or not.

[The camera catches SCP-042-VN moving back and forth slowly, with its front wheel spinning and turning, resembling a vacuum cleaner for half an hour. It also moves its windshield wiper and the broom very smoothly.]

Vincent Bohart: She’s sweeping the yard. How nice.

Hanma Takeshi: I wonder where Keiko is.

[Takeshi changes his standing position and his leg starts shaking. After a short period of time, he slightly nudges into Vincent.]

Hanma Takeshi: My leg is all wobbly now, can we just leave?

Vincent Bohart: Kids these days, so weak. Just hold on, she’s almost finished. After this, I’mma loop it into one heck of an ASMR video.

[Takeshi kneels down, crushing one of the branches on the ground. SCP-042-VN notices the sound and points its headlight into the bush where Vincent and Takeshi are hiding.]

Vincent Bohart: What in the actual fuck?

Hanma Takeshi: Sorry sir, but I can’t take it anymore.

Vincent Bohart: Uh oh, we’ve been spotted, abort abort. Move move move.

[The two stand up and start running. Vincent dashes to the corner of the wall, leaving Takeshi running to catch up behind him.]

Addendum 6: Side interview - SCP-042-VN exhibited anomalous properties

Summarized Approach Log 29/02/2025

[The recording begins with Director Bohart and the shrine manager in the front hall during the ceremony. SCP-042-VN and miko can be seen in the background performing blessing rituals for visitors. SCP-042-VN dresses ceremony costume, with other miko standing around it and assisting in the event.]

Vincent Bohart: And now I'll be interviewing Mr. Tanaka Hiroshi, who has played a major role in taking care of the shrine with his daughters for many years. [points the microphone towards Mr. Tanaka] Can you explain more about your work?

Tanaka Hiroshi: [bows head] Greeting everyone. My name is Tanaka Hiroshi, currently responsible for governing Hokkaidō Shrine. I’m very pleased to work with the channel.

Vincent Bohart: So, shrine manager, can you introduce the shrine and miko? Who are these “pretty cherry blossoms”, and especially about the car that’s attracting tourists and local visitors' attention?

Tanaka Hiroshi: Well,7 I believe that anyone can look up basic information online. Our shrine was constructed recently, starting from my grandfather until me, and then will be taken over by future generations. Some relatives also support us, but mainly annual offerings and ceremonies will be carried out by the Tanaka family and miko.

Vincent Bohart: Right,8 it can be argued that miko have made the shrine extremely popular on social media. Can you go into more detail about this?

Tanaka Hiroshi: Well, to begin with, the main miko taking care of the shrine are my eldest daughter Tanaka Keiko [raises his hand towards the long-haired miko assisting SCP-042-VN], my middle daughter Hanami Tanaka [gestures towards the miko next to him], Ito Yuka [approaches the miko who was witnessing the event and draws her attention. She also turns around to greet.], who is responsible for beautiful items that tourists can buy at souvenir stand. Yumi Watanabe [camera records a dark-skinned, short-haired miko standing in the middle of tourists and SCP-042-VN] is my niece, and recently the appearance of our new representative – Toyo Tanaka [points towards SCP-042-VN performing the ceremony], my youngest daughter.

Vincent Bohart: Yes, from what I see, it seems that Ms. Keiko is playing a key role in taking care of the shrine. If so, will this role be passed on to anyone when she becomes an adult? And what if the miko have other wishes?

Tanaka Hiroshi: Miko’s duty has always been passed down in the Tanaka family. Fortunately, my beloved daughters always enjoy working with this old grumpy father. But if they want to do something else, I'll happily agree. Birds have to leave their nest, right?

Tanaka Hiroshi: Currently, Keiko is the Head Miko. In case she and Yuka go to college or move to another city, Toyo will take over the job for her two older sisters.

Vincent Bohart: Well, perhaps Ms. Toyo is the perfect choice for a shrine manager in the future, and she will be able to handle this responsibility for a very long time, right? So, can the current shrine manager tell us what fate brought Ms. Toyo into the perfect position for this duty?

Tanaka Hiroshi: Well, to be honest, it all started very randomly. Please give me a few minutes.

[Mr. Hiroshi takes out a notebook from the cupboard and holds it towards the camera. He then turns to random pages. Inside are entries of many girls with dates from the past, as well as pictures of high school girls and various miko. Mr. Hiroshi pauses in front of a photograph of SCP-042-VN “being blessed” at the gate.]

Vincent Bohart: This is?

Tanaka Hiroshi: Yes, since the day the Hokkaidō Shrine was constructed, every member's photo has been kept in the notebook I'm holding.

Vincent Bohart: Wow, it looks so thick.

{$alt-text}
Photo taken from the notebook.

Tanaka Hiroshi: Yes, and this is a photo of the first time I met her, two years ago, when I was leading a local car blessing ceremony.

Vincent Bohart: Oh, so you're not Toyo's biological father?

Tanaka Hiroshi: Yeah, how could humans birth cars? Japan isn't yet this miraculous.

Tanaka Hiroshi: Back on topic, Toyo was alone. I didn't think much at that moment, as I assumed a visitor's automobile was parked waiting for their turn to pray.

Vincent Bohart: Nobody showed up to pick up the car?

Tanaka Hiroshi: She was still there, even after the next few nights.

Vincent Bohart: So it turns out that the shrine grounds don't really charge parking fees? Why didn’t you check out that car?

Tanaka Hiroshi: I didn't know that she was alive at that time. It was a cold winter with heavy snow, so I just put a thick tarp over her body to cover the snow and went back to my room. So when the snow melted, someone would come pick her up.

Vincent Bohart: That's very thoughtful.

Tanaka Hiroshi: The next morning, the tarp was carefully folded in front of my room door. And Toyo was hiding behind the stone tablet.

Vincent Bohart: So what was your first reaction?

Tanaka Hiroshi: At first, I thought it was someone pranking us. You know, some kids were on winter break, so they had free time to do things like that.

Vincent Bohart: Oh right, so when did you realize that Miss Toyo was conscious?

Tanaka Hiroshi: As I came closer, she retreated deep into the bushes, but no one was in the cockpit, which made me feel very suspicious.

Vincent Bohart: So you adopted Miss Toyo from that moment?

Tanaka Hiroshi: There were some initial discussions too, we had to talk and clarify things. I also needed custody from her previous owner as well. But after few months when no one came to claim her, she gradually became a part of my family. She called me father, my daughter sister, and considered this place as her home. Then she became an integral part of the shrine like now.

Vincent Bohart: Forgive me if this question is too personal, but some of my viewers asked if an automobile is suitable enough to become a miko?

Tanaka Hiroshi: This shrine always accepts all lives if they want to follow Shinto. Moreover, Toyo is the most sincere in this work, and maybe she gained power and mind from Shinto blessings. Everyone here could see her sincerity.

Vincent Bohart: Yes, that is indeed true. [speaks into the camera] Y’all can look where Mr. Hiroshi is pointing!

[Mr. Hiroshi raises his hand towards SCP-042-VN, the camera also gradually moves in the direction of his hand. Behind the scenes, SCP-042-VN is having sake poured into the fuel tank through the fuel line. A big plastic basin is then placed just beneath the car's exhaust pipe, releasing a bright yellow liquid that resembles beer. People in line then use a small cup to scoop up some liquid to drink. White foam is clearly visible floating in a separate layer on the liquid's surface. Vincent and Mr. Hiroshi make their way to the "kuchikamizake"9 table.]

Vincent Bohart: Wow, very strong smell, is it real beer?

Tanaka Hiroshi: Well, to be more specific, it's a blessed beer-wine hybrid that brings energy and good fortune to the drinker.

[The camera records many residents and tourists drinking and chatting happily together.]

Tanaka Hiroshi: So do you want to try some?

Vincent Bohart: Can I?

Note: After a post-event investigation, Foundation recorded thirty cases of stomach ache which needed to be transferred to the central hospital, twelve cases of driving safety violations, and five cases of imprisonment for fighting while intoxicated. All of these individuals did not blame or mention SCP-042-VN. Director Vincent Bohart stated that he "had to resolve a very important problem" by spending eight hours straight in the bathroom.

Addendum 6.01:

The recording below was restored by Temporary Junior Researcher Larry Cumbleton, Director Bohart was not informed about this.

Summarized Approach Log 01/03/2025

[The scene is now an alley that led to the back area, and Takeshi is walking in front of the camera.]

Hanma Takeshi: [turns around] So, you will tell me how to become famous if I tell you the places she usually goes.

Vincent Bohart: [smirks] Become an S-tier YouTuber if you want to. Don’t you worry. Just show me their daily activities, that’s all.

Hanma Takeshi: Alright, I know a place inside the house that could look out to the yard where the miko usually come. They should be finished doing their ceremony by now, so they will probably be there soon.

Vincent Bohart: Damn. Wait, how do you know all of this? Did you also stalk them?

Hanma Takeshi: No no, not like that. I know this because Keiko brought me here so I could find a place to paint when I was little.

Vincent Bohart: Oh really? [nudges into Takeshi] That is quite close for a friend, so…?

Hanma Takeshi: We are just friends. Besides, I don’t think I’m in her league.

Vincent Bohart: Come on [continues nudging into Takeshi]

[The miko walks out from the corner in front of Vincent and Takeshi while wearing their daily clothes, and a black Toyota Previa is next to them instead of SCP-042-VN.]

Hanma Takeshi: Oh, hey Keiko-san and everyone. Wait, why are you all here? I thought you were still busy with the ceremony?

Tanaka Keiko: Hey, my dad said he’s gonna take care of the rest, so we have an early break. So you are guiding him to see the shrine right, Kitano-san?

Vincent Bohart: Kitano-san?

Hanma Takeshi: Busted…You just can’t stop calling me by my first name.

Vincent Bohart: Uh kid, what’s with the “Kitano” thing?

Hanma Takeshi: Um, so, Kitano is actually my first name.

Vincent Bohart: Ain’t you said yours is Hanma?

Kitano Takeshi: Uhh…about that-

Tanaka Keiko: [giggles, then she covers her mouth with her hands] You still use that name when meeting up with strangers?

Kitano Takeshi: [signals for Keiko to stop] Keiko-san~

Vincent Bohart: I’m really lost right now.

Kitano Takeshi: Okay so, Hanma was actually the first name of my favorite comic character…

[Vincent tries not to laugh, but unable to and chuckles for several minutes.]

Vincent Bohart: My god, [laughs while hyperventilating], you did not just do that.

Kitano Takeshi: SIR!

Vincent Bohart: A ha ha I'm gonna fuckin' die from this. [taking long breaths] Okay, okay, I’mma stop here. Hey, hey, hello miko, hello Ms Keiko. We met the other day.

Tanaka Keiko: [bows to greet the other miko] Yes, greeting, once again. Do you feel welcome here, sir?

Vincent Bohart: Yes yes, Miss Keiko…-san, I do enjoy being here. Uhm, where, uhh, where’s Toyo-san?

Tanaka Keiko: She’s right here, sir? Is there a problem?

Vincent Bohart: Wait, she’s this car? I thought she was white? Why’s she all black now?

[The miko giggles while looking toward the car, and it moves backward a little.]

Tanaka Keiko: Yeah, about that…

[A small whisper emanates from behind the miko. After a few seconds, the noise grows louder, resembling a mechanical woman's voice, assumed to be coming from SCP-042-VN.]

SCP-042-VN: Even…even Miko have to get changed, you know!

[Vincent is only able to utter a "huh" sound as SCP-042-VN glows pinkish from its headlights and then runs past him. This causes him to dodge to the right side, tripping in the process, and subsequently bumping his head onto a lamppost nearby.]

Addendum 7:

Summarized Approach Log 05/03/2025

[Scene changing into Vincent sitting in his futon with a sleepy face. All his belongings pile up in the background.]

Vincent Bohart: Hello guys. I’m about to say goodbye to this place. Gotta give other places a try. It’s near the vacation end anyway.

[Vincent slowly stands up from his futon and sits down at the table.]

Vincent Bohart: So… I’m planning on interviewing SCP-042-VN directly today, gotta see what miko's inside like right? Ready. Three. Two. One!

[Vincent covers the camera with his hand. The video is cut to Vincent uncovering his hand and the scene changes to the shrine’s main hall, where Tanaka Hiroshi and two miko are focusing on their ceremony, SCP-042-VN is not presented.]

Vincent Bohart: [whispers] They are on their daily worshiping so I should just wait here for a bit.

{$alt-text}
Hokkaidō shrine, during the incident.

[After about fifteen minutes of waiting on the bench, a loud sound can be heard from behind Vincent. Even before Vincent manages to turn around, SCP-042-VN, with immense speed, flies past his head, causing him to jump forward and crouch on the ground, his phone gets thrown far ahead, and rolls a couple of times before landing in a corner facing Vincent.]

Vincent Bohart: Huh— [Vincent says in a startled voice]

SCP-042-VN: Father, I sense an evil spirit nearby.

Tanaka Hiroshi: We’re in big trouble this time! [looks at the miko and Vincent] Keiko, Hanami, you go with your sister. Yumi and I will help you remotely.

[The miko simultaneously reply “Yes” as they get inside SCP-042-VN. The anomaly swiftly leaves with abnormal speed.]

Vincent Bohart: Hey hey where are you guys going, I nee–

Tanaka Hiroshi: Forgive us, but it seems we can’t help with your recordings today. There’s important business to deal with.

Vincent Bohart: Can I at least know where you guys are going?

Tanaka Hiroshi: No, this is too dangerous!

[Right then, Vincent pivots his camera to the anomaly’s GPS and catches a red dot next to the sea, possibly be where SCP-042-VN is heading to.]

Vincent Bohart: [tries to open the car’s door] Hey I’m an adult here, let me help.

[SCP-042-VN suddenly rushes away dragging Vincent with her, causing him to slam his face against the floor. However, Vincent quickly gets up, wiping his face, and runs to the shrine’s gate.]

Vincent Bohart: Fuck! Wait for me!

[The recording cuts to the middle of a jammed street. Kitano is behind Vincent, breathing ragged breaths.]

{$alt-text}
SCP-042-VN caught "leaping" from other cars to move to its destination.

Vincent Bohart: Shit, the whole street is crowded!

Kitano Takeshi: What do we do now? And why did you get me into this?

Vincent Bohart: You’re gonna have to lead the way for me. Looks like we got our hands full here, and there’s Keiko too. Don’t you want to help her?

Kitano Takeshi: KEIKO’S IN TROUBLE? I’M IN!

[Video transcript speeds up for a few minutes until the cab exits the congested area. The vehicle then stops next to the beach. Vincent and Takeshi step outside. SCP-042-VN and the four miko are shown engaged in combat against an unknown anomalous entity of significant size. SCP-042-VN appears to utilize a form of ranged attack which emanates from its headlights towards the entity.]

{$alt-text}

Entity: YOU TWO MORTAL PEASANTS, HOW DARE YOU SHOW YOUR FACES IN FRONT OF AN ALMIGHTY RULER SUCH AS I? I WILL EAT YOU ALIVE FOR THIS!

Vincent Bohart: [turns to Takeshi] Hey kid, get the miko somewhere safe, I’ll figure out a way to help that girl, Toyo.

Kitano Takeshi: Y– Yes sir. But– but that thing behind the smoke…

Vincent Bohart: Yeah, surprising isn’t it, to know monsters or abnormal stuff like that exist–

Kitano Takeshi: No sir, I mean I’ve already known those things exist, it’s just way bigger this time.

Vincent Bohart: Wha— uh, then, uhm, just deal with those who can't fight first. Help is on the way. I’ll hold this thing till then.

Entity: YOU DISGRACEFUL PEASANTS DARE WHISPERING IN FRONT OF MY PRESENCE. PREPARE TO BE PUNISHED!

[The entity emits a roar that shakes the ground heavily and creates dozens-metres-tall waves. Smoke pillars break through the ocean surface and fill the sky.]

Vincent Bohart: [curls down as he steps forward] Will mister— your grace, yes mister your grace spare us, and allow us, uhm, to leave this place in peace, pretty please?

Entity: HAH, YOU REALLY THINK YOU CAN LEAVE AFTER DISRESPECT A MIGHTY KING LIKE THIS? LETTING YOU RATS GO IS NOT MY INTENTION FROM THE START ANYWAY.

[The entity flicks his head backward resembling the motion of swinging an arm. A wave, measuring five meters in height and extending over ten meters in length, manifests, crashing onto the shore and propelling SCP-042-VN into the wall mound behind her. The incident blocks SCP-042-VN’s engine and stops her from turning on the headlights. Hiroshi, who is carrying the last miko out of the area, also almost falls from the shockwave but quickly recovers and leaves.]

Vincent Bohart: Miss Miko [hurries to SCP-042-VN while facing the malicious entity and pressing his back against the wall]! Are you alright, uhm, Miko Toyo-san?

[SCP-042-VN let out a weak engine sound, the headlights flicker but don't turn on completely. SCP-042-VN slightly moves as her wheels roll in the sand.]

SCP-042-VN: Mister, mister customer, can you please take the wheel. I need your help to kickstart my engine. I can draw out all of my hidden power, but I need a soul of justice after the wheel that synchronizes with me.

Vincent Bohart: I… I’m not sure if I can do that.

SCP-042-VN: I’ve observed you since you started your stay at the shrine. Although you’re kind of weird at times, I do believe your heart is still in the good.

Entity: YOU DARE IGNORE YOUR KING AGAIN, YOU MAGGOTS. GO TO HELL WHERE THOSE ŌE MOUNT IDIOTS ARE!

SCP-042-VN: Please hurry, mister customer! I can’t take it any longer!

Entity: YOU ARE JUST AS WEAK AS EVER. TIME TO PURGE ALL YOU MAGGOTS.

Vincent Bohart: [scream] Come out and fight me one on one if you’re so good, playing deity behind your smoke. Or maybe you are too ugly you have to hide from other’s gaze!

Entity: HMPH, YOU INSUBORDINATE. FEAR YOUR ALMIGHTY KING!

[The entity slowly moves throught the smoke. Camera catches a Y-class entity resembling an Oni in Japanese folklore. The entity possesses a bodiless head floating in mid-air with an invisible sixty-meter-high figure, which could be viewed through lens. A pair of brightly glowing horns could be seen on the entity’s head.

Vincent Bohart: Holy–

Entity: NOW, ARE YOU STILL LOOKING FOR A FIGHT WITH THE ALMIGHTY?

Vincent Bohart: [suddenly crouch down] This… this slowly servant bows before master.

Entity: SMART MOVE, PEASANT!

Vincent Bohart: What… What can this… this servant do for you now… your grace?

Entity: BRING ME THE VIRGINS YOUR SOLDIER JUST BROUGHT AWAY. I NEED MORE POWER FOR VENGEANCE. IF YOU BEHAVE, YOU SHALL BE BROUGHT UNDER MY COMMAND AND GET REWARDED.

Vincent Bohart: Yes… yes, I will do that straight away. Will… will your grace get closer and take the tribute?

Entity: GOOD!

[The camera constantly shakes each time the entity comes a little closer. Suddenly, Vincent throws a paper talisman seemingly taken from SCP-042-VN driver’s seat.]

Vincent Bohart: Behold, SUPER ULTRA POWERFUL FIREBALL DESTROY MY ENEMY!!!

[The paper talisman floats forward, then slowly lands on the ground. Nothing happens.]

SCP-042-VN: The talisman only works with us mister customers!

Vincent Bohart: WHY DIDN’T YOU TELL ME?

SCP-042-VN: YOU DIDN’T ASKED?

Entity: YOU DARE TRY TO FOOL ME YOU DAMN MORTAL. THEN THIS PLACE SHALL MARK YOUR GRAVE!

[The entity roars and rushes toward Vincent, bringing a tsunami to the shore as Vincent head for SCP-042-VN.]

Vincent Bohart: Fuck me!

[The wave crashes down while Vincent pulling open SCP-042-VN’s door, a paper talisman suddenly fly into the wave and creates a yellow thaumaturgical barrier blocking the waves outside.]

Entity: HUH?

Vincent Bohart: Huh?

SCP-042-VN: Keiko-nee!!!

[Camera pivots above the wall mould and catches Keiko being carried by Tekeshi, both being protected by another barrier similar to the one covering SCP-042-VN and Vincent.]

Entity: YOU DAMN MORTALS!

[Vincent opens the door and jumps into driver’s seat, then kick starts the car, Vincent holds onto the wheel, follow by a sudden energy emmission that surround him.]

Vincent Bohart: LET'S DO IT TOYO-SAN!

[A glaring aura appears around SCP-042-VN so bright it slowly reflects on SCP-042-VN’s window, turning the scene completely white.]

Vincent Bohart: AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA! MYYYYYYYYY EYEEEEEEEEEEEEES!

{$alt-text}
Ibaraki-dōji illustration, by Shibata Zeshin

Entity: HOW DARE YOU!

[The scene slowly becomes visible again as the light gets less bright. The entity can be seen summoning a pack of class-Y entities resembling Ibaraki dōji10 and Onikuma11 in Japanese folklore. They all charge at Vincent and SCP-042-VN to attack.]

Entity: ATTACK THEM!

[The glaring aura transforms into a wave, spreading out and clearing all nearby class-Y entities. The scene becomes less bright, and the camera captures SCP-042's reflection on the yellow barrier. SCP-042-VN now transforms into a female humanoid entity, composed of car parts, with armoring made from the car's shell and two oversized shoulder armor pieces created from the headlight areas. Inside the driving chamber of SCP-042-VN, it resembles its counterpart in Mecha animation series frequently shown on media.]

Vincent Bohart: WOOOOOOOOAAAAHHHH!!! AWESOOOME!

SCP-042-VN: I’M FEELING FULL OF ENERGY! THIS IS THE FIRST TIME ANYONE BESIDES FROM DADDY EVER GET INSIDE ME!

Vincent Bohart: AY, WORDING! HOLD ON, WHY AM I.

[Vincent turns the camera towards his body, in a Japanese female high school uniform and wearing black fishnet stockings with an aluminum crown on his head. A Nokia brand ringtone can be heard from SCP-042-VN's control screen; Vincent presses the receive button.]

Tanaka Hiroshi: Don’t mind the clothes, just focus on fighting those Onies. Yuka has found that evil deity’s information, he is Shuten-dōji! We will send you the information right away, let us think of how to deal with it, and try to hold the others until then!

oeyama_emaki.jpg

Shuten-dōji illustration in Ōeyama Emaki.

Vincent Bohart: Hah, not necessary, watch me knock all of them to the ground with Toyo-san!

SCP-042-VN: Yeah!

[Vincent revs the engine then uses the gear lever to aim the crosshair at Class-Y entities and opens fire. The beams from SCP-042-VN shoot out, becoming stronger than before and instantly decaying the enemy.]

Vincent Bohart: Hah, this will be quick.

[SCP-042-VN’s beams become even stronger. The Onikumas in the distance quickly gather into a line and start approaching, blocking the Ibaraki dōji who is “casting spells” behind their backs, all charging towards SCP-042-VN. Light beams shooting out from SCP-042-VN quickly disintegrate the frontline. However, instead of turning into light, the remains coalesce into a colossal frontline Onikuma entity.]

Vincent Bohart: DORAIBAAA KICK!

[When approaching SCP-042-VN, the leading Onikuma has already turned into a twenty-metres-tall entity. It raises its arm and slams down at SCP-042-VN; SCP-042-VN dodges by backflipping, using the wall behind as a platform and launching herself into the air. During her descent, SCP-042-VN stomps one foot into the face of the monster. It loses its balance and falls back towards the sea.]

[Camera then captures the other Onikumas rushing at them by climbing on the back of the leading one. SCP-042-VN counters their advance by constantly firing. The decayed Onikuma quickly merges into where they are holding onto, while at the same time, SCP-042-VN hears the roar of a Y-class entity behind her. However, instead of continuing the fight with the bears, SCP-042-VN utilizes Onikuma’s back as a pedestal to launch herself forward and opens fire at Ibaraki dōji. Unable to react in time, Ibaraki dōji loses its only arm but still manages to summon two Onikumas to shield it. Nevertheless, every Onikumas behind SCP-042-VN immediately disappears.]

[Realizing the true opponent, SCP-042-VN rushes toward it, firing as it falls back. 'The child of demon' squeals, commanding four Onikumas to grab and maul SCP-042-VN, pinning her down in several seconds. Despite this, she is able to shake them off and shoots light beams at them to free herself entirely, then continues her chase.]

Vincent Bohart: ARE YOU OKAY, TOYO?

SCP-042-VN: I’M SO FULL OF ENERGY THANKS TO MISTER CUSTOMER, NONE CAN STOP ME NOW!

[At this point, Ibaraki dōji has already reached Shuten-dōji and crouches down, pleading.]

Ibaraki dōji: Please my king, this lowly in-law begs for your aid. The enemy possesses such dirty tricks that trouble me.

Shuten-dōji: YOU USELESS TRAITOROUS COWARD, I GAVE YOU THIS CHANCE TO REPAY FOR YOUR PAST FAILURE YET YOU’RE STILL THIS WEAK AFTER SO MANY SPRINGS. NOT EVEN WORTH MY PITY.

[Shuten-dōji suddenly raises his floating head high above, and his invisible leg then stomps down on Ibaraki dōji, turning her into a black splash. The vibration generated is strong enough to throw SCP-042-VN, who was rushing for an attack, away. At the same time, smoke from the sea rises harder. A volcano emerges from beneath the smoke, sending waves to the shore. Although the waves aren’t strong enough to move SCP-042-VN, they still limit her movements.]

Shuten-dōji: NOW, YOU SHALL MEET THE SAME FATE. LET ME SHOW YOU, THE ULTIMATE POWER OF A KING.

[The entity roars, echoing throughout space and continuing for the next few seconds. Thunderstorms and waves swallow the background and slowly push into the shore. The entity’s head also rushes toward SCP-042-VN, creating multiple shockwaves in its path, catching SCP-042-VN by surprise. SCP-042-VN only manages to fire back two shots at the head before getting knocked back against the wall by an invisible force. Although taking two of SCP-042-VN's light beams, Shuten-dōji takes no actual damage. On the contrary, the entity roars again; a couple of debris shoot out from the volcano and crash down on SCP-042-VN.]

Vincent Bohart: THAT’S TOO DANGEROUS!

[The entity slowly approaches SCP-042-VN, laughing victoriously. SCP-042-VN attempts to stand up but fails. The inside of the pilot’s chamber is filled with flickering red lights, and Vincent coughs heavily due to the steam releasing from the machine.]

SCP-042-VN: Please run sir, I will try to hold him off for one last time.

Vincent Bohart: WHERE TO RUN WITH WATER ALL AROUND US LIKE THIS MISSY!

Tanaka Hiroshi: Are you still there? Help is coming in three… two… one!

[Multiple talismans suddenly fly down from above the wall, turning into light and fireballs attacking the head of Shuten-dōji. The entity is damaged and roars, unable to step forward. SCP-042-VN turns around to look up the wall mound at the returning miko.]

SCP-042-VN: [in unison] SIS!

Vincent Bohart: [in unison] MISSES!

Tanaka Keiko: Sorry you two! We’re back! We shall win this battle in no time..

Shuten-dōji: CALLING BACKUPS? HUH, YOU WEAKLINGS ALWAYS DO THAT. LESS WORK FOR ME NOT HAVING TO HUNT YOU ALL DOWN. GO TO HELL TOGETHER!

SCP-042-VN: This one is powerful, sis. We can’t defeat him with just talismans. Even this form of mine is–

Tanaka Keiko: Worry not, we will win, because we have more than just your ultimate form, we have the power of friendship, sisterhood and we believe in righteousness! On top of that, we have the power of the sixth Miko with us now!

[Other miko reply “Right!” in unison.]

Tanaka Keiko: Alright, everyone, let’s give Toyo the power to fight against evil! Let’s repeat the Miko oath of Hokkaidō Shrine! Even you, mister customer!

Vincent Bohart: HUH? BUT I DON’T KNOW WHAT THAT IS THOUGH!

Tanaka Keiko: Just copy us!

Miko and Vincent: In the shadow where sunlight can’t reach, where evil spirits stir the peace of man. We shall set alight with our shrine’s lamp, with Shinto’s holy light. Through the power of friendship and sisterhood, and righteousness in this heart. We shall bring justice to evil in the name of Hokkaidō shrine! MIKO SQUAD, STRIKE!

[The four miko and SCP-042-VN turn into multiple light beams which flew above and unite into a sixty meters humanoid machina entity.]

Ultimate SCP-042-VN: Prepare To Be Punished O’ Demon! Purification Technique: Six-Petals Cherry Blossom - Bloom.

Shuten-dōji: DON’T YOU DARE UNDERESTIMATE ME LIKE THAT. BEHOLD, KILLING TECHNIQUE: DESTRUCTION EMPEROR’S FLAME.

[A light cluster condenses in front of the light entity and blooms into a giant six-petal cherry blossom. From its pistil, a light pillar shoots out at Shuten-dōji. Shuten-dōji's mouth opens wide, creating a field of evil spirit’s black flame straight at SCP-042-VN. The field of evil spirit pierces the waves and collides with the light pillar, almost engulfing it with the sea of flame. However, both beams go to a standoff, balancing for minutes.]

The Ultimate SCP-042-VN: Still not enough to defeat him!

Vincent Bohart: I have an idea! Toyo-san, I need your permission to take over!

SCP-042-VN: Okay!

[The Ultimate SCP-042-VN sprays kuchikamizake from her back straight into Shuten-dōji’s mouth with ultrasonic speed. The entity isn’t able to close his mouth with the field of flame still pouring out.]

Vincent Bohart: Thanks to mister Hiroshi’s critical historical information! This “high and almighty king” used to be decapitated by the sword master Minamoto no Yorimitsu when he was wasted. THE SAKE WILL SURELY INTOXICATE AND DEBILITATE HIM.

{$alt-text}
Illustration of the entity extermination, by Kitano Takeshi.

Shuten-dōji: NO, IT CAN’T BE! NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!

[Shuten-dōji’s flame quickly weakens and fades, SCP-042-VN light pillar easily pierces through the flame, the head and the volcano behind it. Shuten-dōji slowly decays, and other Y-class entities quickly disappear right after this. The camera gets swallowed by the light once again in a few minutes.]

Shuten-dōji: YOU… YOU WILL PAY FOR THIS!

[When the camera stops being flashed, the sea and the sky have already returned to their original stage. The scene is now inside SCP-042-VN's normal seats, with Vincent on the wheel, Keiko next to him, and the three miko at the backseats.]

Vincent Bohart: Aye, we won. So, celebration time?

The miko: Agree!

[The recording cuts to everyone stepping up on the wall while SCP-042-VN navigates to the carway. The camera now points at Keiko getting carried by Takeshi.]

SCP-042-VN: Wait, Takeshi-san’s here, too?

Kitano Takeshi: I drove everyone here.

Vincent Bohart: WAIT WAIT YOU HAVE A DRIVING LICENSE?

Kitano Takeshi: [takes his license out] Yeah, freshly made.

Vincent Bohart: I’m more surprised you brought that than that you actually got one to start with. Though, why are you carrying Keiko-san like that?

Kitano Takeshi: Because she hasn’t fully recovered, I’m carrying her back to the car now.

Vincent Bohart: Aren’t she all goo–

Tanaka Keiko: [glares at the camera but still maintains her smile] Yes, actually my ankle is still in slight pain so it’s hard for me to walk around.

Kitano Takeshi: Careful, oh, just let me drive you back home. Poor you.

Vincent Bohart: Ah.

Addendum 8:

After the previous event, SCP-042-VN returns to her original form and continues her duty at Hokkaidō Shrine. The following was the final log between Dir. Vincent Bohart with the anomaly and the members of the shrine before returning to Site-333.

Summarized Approach Log 06/03/2025

[The record starts with Vincent getting his belongings into his backpack.]

Vincent Bohart: [sad] Hey… here’s the tear-jerking goodbye scene you’re all waiting for. My final vlog at the shrine, I’ll say my farewell to them in a few minutes, and to the airport I’ll go.

[Suddenly, multiple voices can be heard from outside of Vincent’s room.]

Vincent Bohart: Who’s that?

[Vincent slowly walks outside and opens his door slightly. He then sticks his face out.]

[A bunch of paper fireworks shoot at him. Before he manages to reply, many claps are heard. Vincent steps outside the door, his face bright.]

Vincent Bohart: E… Everyone!

SCP-042-VN: Mister… Mister customer. We are here to say farewell to you!

Tanaka Hiroshi: Thank you Vincent, this land was protected thanks to you! And my daughter as well!

Tanaka Keiko: Thank you for helping us fight!

Kitano Takeshi: Thank you dearly! I’ve grown more confident thanks to you!

The other miko: Thank you for saving us, Vincent-sama!

[Vincent stands in the center of every member of the Shrine, receiving cheers and hand claps. He holds his camera up to record everyone around him closely, then wipes his eyes.]

???: THANKS FOR FIGHTING WITH ME!

[Vincent turns to the voice as he hears it. His voice expresses great surprise when he is faced with a mysterious woman.]

Vincent Bohart: You… you are?

???: HUH HUH, TOO SURPRISE WITH YOUR KING APPEARANCE? IT IS THE DEMON KING OF ONIKIND, SHUTEN-DOJI!

{$alt-text}
Shuten-dōji portrait, captured when he left the shrine to explore the surrounding area.

Vincent Bohart: The fuck… but… but…

Tanaka Hiroshi: It’s alright Vincent, we’ve solved everything during the few days you slept, everything is okay now.

Vincent Bohart: [bashfully] But… but why… why is your grace h… here?

Tanaka Keiko: [glares at Shuten-dōji, causing the entity to step backward to the far away bushes] Mister customer obviously couldn’t have known about this! Father, please explain to him!

Tanaka Hiroshi: [shakes his head] Okay. Every time the Miko Squad defeats the evil, the kami will automatically be revived here. Normally the low-level evil spirits will just go back to the Samsara, but powerful kami– such as the great Shuten-dōji here will be reincarnated, as objects, creatures, or even as humanoid manifestations.

Vincent Bohart: But… but why did your grace choose this… this form…

Shuten-dōji: I DON’T KNOW, THOSE MIKO SAID THAT THIS IMAGE WILL COVER MY WAY OF TALKING BEST.

Tanaka Keiko: In case anyone asks, we just need to say that she’s a… what was it?

Kitano Takeshi: A Chūnibyō12?

Tanaka Keiko: Ah yes, thank you. Just say that this one is a Chūnibyō staying at the shrine. Might bring in some customers even!

Vincent Bohart: Incredible business sense. You will surely be an incredible shrine manager! [whisper] So, so is he, she won’t go on a rampage again, right? I mean the vengeance thing?

Tanaka Keiko: [glares at Shuten-dōji again] Yeah well, we made sure she knew we are very good friends and vengeance is not necessary. Right, Shuten-san?

Shuten-dōji: [speak from inside the bush] R– RIGHT. DRINKING FRIENDS CAN’T BE BAD INFLUENCES!!!

Tanaka Keiko: So that’s that, we will give her the daily leftover kuchikamizake and sake and let her work inside the shrine to pay her expenses.

Vincent Bohart: Okay then. Glad everything turns out alright. I can leave with ease now. Thank you mina-san for taking care of me these few days. Thank you mister shrine manager for letting me stay, misses miko for treating me well, and Takeshi for always having faith in me until the end. Honestly thank you, everyone.

Tanaka Hiroshi: It’s alright. You deserve all of this. Please remember, no matter how things turn out, this place will always welcome you. You will always be our sixth miko.

[Vincent audibly sobs, the record is edited to slowly remove the sound and replace it with soft music. The scene is changed to Vincent and the shrine’s members all waking at the park’s entrance.]

[A shy-looking miko, Ito Yuka bashfully approaches Tanaka Hiroshi from behind and whispers to him. Tanaka Hiroshi smiles and nods. Ito Yuka quickly rushes at Vincent Bohart with her two hands behind her back.]

Ito Yuka:Vi… Vincent-ojisan.

Vincent Bohart: You’re Yuka-san, aren’t you? Thank you for giving me important information in time! [Vincent intends to pat Yuka’s head but she steps out of the way.]

Ito Yuka: I… I have this gift for Vincent-ojisan!

[Ito Yuka hands Vincent a sketches, Vincent takes it.]

Vincent Bohart: It’s… it’s… it’s beautiful. Thank you so much, Yuka-san! I will hang it in my office.

Ito Yuka: [smiles happily] I’m glad that you like it, Vincent-ojisan!

Vincent Bohart: Of course I like getting fanart from a Miko!

Ito Yuka: [smiles lightly] Not me! The shrine manager drew it!

[Vincent quickly turns to Tanaka Hiroshi, who is blushing and smiling while turning away.]

!NOTICE FROM THE RECORDS AND INFORMATION SECURITY ADMINISTRATION!

UPDATE ON SCP-042-VN DOCUMENT
