| When Iris shows me pictures of Threeports from forty years ago, it’s hard to believe it’s the same city. No cars? No fine dining? No penthouses? No dragonling performance troupes? Well, it’s a good thing the bowl horizon is still there. Makes my head hurt looking at it, but it’s beautiful. Since the city is always expanding now, zoning new developments and such, I figured we’d finally put our name to something instead of on the people using our capital to séance with the Mayor. I think that’s how they get permission for everything they do? Has anyone ever actually seen that guy? Skitter says he doesn’t really exist, but the city council takeover that happened a few years definitely did, and no reaction there (or to all the cars that people crashed in protest afterwards). Well, whatever is going on, as long as we’re turning a profit, we’re content to let this lounge be run by the TABC with Lucas checking in every two months. They seem to be planning to use the space to host seminars and a private cocktail party on the rarest of occasions, and I’m excited to see what they’ll come up with. (Their android staff are rather impressive.) |
