Purpose
The founding of the First Youth Division of the IJAMEA marks a bold, new step in returning the Empire of Japan to her former glory by any means necessary. Our war is not over yet, and we will keep fighting it. The cowardly Kakure Shogun hide in the shadows, tinkering with magic spells and yokai but making no decisive action. We, the descendants of these idle old men, have taken it upon ourselves to be the change that Japan needs.
Our inaugural operation will be a three-pronged attack on the cultural decay of Japan: using one educational facility, Wakamatsu Senior High School, as a focus-test for many more operations to come. The institute of education, once a temple of discipline and regiment, has become a cesspit of degeneracy and Western so-called values. Our grandfathers are labelled monsters, females receive unfair special treatment, pacifism is preached, and foreigners are accepted with open arms. This is but a microcosm of greater Japanese society.
Using anomalies currently in our control, or soon to be, we plan to enact a large false-flag attack on Wakamatsu Senior High School, incurring as many casualties as possible.
Our goals are the following:
- Increase support for militarism, imperialism, and nationalism among the student body.
- Stoke tensions between Japan and her enemies.
- Sow hatred and distrust of foreign students.
Upon the inevitable outcome that the operation is a success, we will begin preparation for future operations of a similar nature.
Assets
Our own Lieutenant Oshima is the most integral asset in this operation; using his innate power of shapeshifting, he will imitate a Chinese student named Han Sanming, and commit the attack under his identity. Alongside Oshima, Sergeant Adachi and I will be posing as two other foreigner students by non-paranormal means.
Before the operation, we will thieve rifles, handguns, ammunition and sleep-inducing drugs from a Kakure Shogun stronghold, and transfer them to our separate homes in preparation for the attack. Said firearms and ammunition have been altered via magic to be untraceable and unable to hold fingerprints, or other genetic evidence. Along with the firearms, we also plan to use non-paranormal swords of various lengths, already in our possession.
Using our accumulated powers and objects, we will maximise the lethality and scale of this operation.
Results
Project Jūmonji Yari produced incredibly successful results.
Before the operation commenced, we attempted to burglarise the previously mentioned stronghold. Unfortunately, we were discovered during the act by a Kakure Shogun, the father of Sergeant Adachi. He lectured and scolded us, and slurred us as "Jirai", clearly incensed that we do not sit idly by like his clan. Despite the interruption, we managed to steal one handgun, and a small amount of ammunition and sleep-inducing drugs.

Once all assets were secured, we waited until the night before the attack to launch the operation. Under the cover of darkness, we abducted Sanming, and two hāfus - an African and a Korean - from their homes, and brought them to the school. We placed them in an under-used bathroom on the fourth floor, sedated them using the stolen drugs, and stripped them of their clothes. We then returned to our homes for the night.
On the morning of 2024/05/17, the FYD entered Wakamatsu Senior High School: Lieutenant Oshima, armed with the pistol and a small sword and taking the appearance of Sanming, and Sergeant Adachi and I, concealing our faces with masks and sunglasses, armed with katanas. At 9:00AM, the attack commenced. As Lieutenant Oshima led the attack, the following is a description of the operation from his perspective:
Just as first period was starting, I began shooting at students on the ground floor. The few remaining in the corridors fled into nearby classrooms, where they were easy to dispose of. As per the plan, I shouted various anti-Japanese phrases throughout the attack. Sato and Adachi followed close behind, picking off stragglers with their blades and violating remaining females. I faced some resistance near the first stairwell, with two teachers attempting to fend me off with chairs, but I quickly dispatched them.
Once I reached the second floor, targets were hard to come by. All classrooms were locked down, with the toilets and supply closets holding a meagre amount of students. Nevertheless, I pushed on, racking up a steady amount of casualties across the third and fourth floor. At this point, the authorities had arrived and were ready to breach the building, so we had to wrap up.
I transformed back to my original self - staying any longer as that brute would've made me sick - and returned to the bathroom where we had stored the foreigners, quickly changing clothes before executing them. The hāfus were both stabbed, made to replicate a struggle, as if we, brave students, had defeated the attackers ourselves - and to lend credit to the story, Sergeant Adachi bravely took a bullet to the shoulder. The chankoro was then shot in the side of the head, imitating a suicide, and the fake manifesto we had written was placed on his person. Then, assuming our places, we waited to be found. Only time would tell whether or not the operation would be a success.
31 students were killed, along with 6 members of faculty: leading to an overall death toll of 40, including the blamed foreigners.
Our projected goals for Project Jūmonji Yari were not only met, but exceeded. The public outcry in response to the attack far surpassed anything we could've anticipated; Japan is enflamed. The foreign students were blamed for the attack without scrutiny, and we emerged as the saviours. Admittedly, the mass attention is slightly intimidating for a covert group such as ourselves, but this was necessary for our plans.
Nationalism within Wakamatsu High, and the whole country, increased tenfold, with our Japan First club receiving over 50 new members so far. The public have been whipped into a righteous frenzy, marching and demanding for crackdowns on foreigners and anti-Japanese language. The dog-run American government condemned the attack, and even offered military support to Japan if and when she needs it. Rumours emerged of increased militarisation in bordering waters by both China and Korea. We are on the precipice of war.
If such a strong response can be manufactured by such an inexperienced (but passionate) group such as ours, think of what we can do with more guns, more monsters, more magic. Preparations are being made for our next operation, and we are attempting to contact fellow IJAMEA cells. A few more pushes is all Japan needs.
