PRIDEFEST 2025!
In 2024, we held a Pridefest, not expecting much participation.
To our surprise, there were 51 entries from many LGBTQIA+ authors and artists! You love to see it. A few months later, we received requests to repeat the event. Though we initially didn't know if we were going to, we decided to hold it again!
That's right, for the next two weeks we will be inviting authors and artists to show off their pride, whether that be by posting stories or art, it's entirely up to you! This year's theme for NYC Pride is Rise Up: Pride in Protest, and we wanted to give you all the prompt of making your writing relevant to this theme. We invite all of you to take this theme as liberally as you want.
HOWEVER, if you just want to write/illustrate a happy LGBTQIA+ piece or something not related to Pride in Protest, that's fine too! As long as it's about a queer experience, anything is welcome.
So without further ado, let's get to the rules, shall we?

- More than one entry per person in any category are allowed!
