Yehoshua
The Christ
Logos
Son of G-d
Son of Yosef
Fully human
Fully divine
King of kings
And Lord of lords
Born from the Virgin Maryam
But made whole through communion with the Spirit
Through His baptism by Yohanan—

Stood with His arms outstretched

(as if bearing the Cross once again)

perched upon the edge of the

in Palestine.

He stood

(alone)

upon the Palestine Trade Center
and looked down upon
the flaming holes that had been ruptured
by the burning coals produced
by artillery fire.

He was going to kill Himself.

He had wept bitterly
for many thousands
of years.
He had bore the punishment
of eternity — He alone
was in Hell; the reincarnation cycle of
Earth, trapped within the clawed grasp of His
Father's Demiurge; the dark impostor
had dominion over the soul of G-d,
His only Son, and Christ could not
return home
ever again
in order to bear the sins of humanity
for all eternity, or until Hell

(Samsara, the Earth, the physical realm of the Demiurge's creation)

was empty.
And He was tired of it, rightfully so.
For going as unloved as He did,

(Or feeling unloved as He did)

for so long, any man would conspire to take his own life.

So Christ looked down at the ground
And felt the wind brush back his long,
black, curly hair, tickling up the back
of his ears like the kisses of…

So Christ looked down at the ground
And felt the wind brush past Him
beneath His arms and jawline—
His jaw was clenched, His teeth pushing down on each other
threatening to snap.

There was no one left in the city
No one would witness the second death of G-d.
He was so alone, as He had always been.

Gethsemane had been destroyed
in the early waves of the invasion so
the ruins of the city would be the new garden.
Yes, in time the gardens would grow here again—
The cycle of death and rebirth in Samsara was

(Again)

endless, and so the souls
burnt here, the souls
that starved here, the souls
that were shot out there, the souls
that jumped off buildings to escape
the pain:
would regrow into flowers
in the springtime
sprouting out to face their Father

(the Sun)

and they would be pollinated
and spread their seed together through
the ground that was once
rendered infertile and lifeless,
for no life could be destroyed forever,
though a soul may escape this realm, indeed,
all souls will escape this realm, as G-d willed,
life was a precious and recyclable substance.

Death came from life;
And thus, life came from death.

Christ knew this and pondered what miraculous life
would be made from His death.

Perhaps, perhaps
when He was born again, He would not remember.

He prayed quietly:

(Father, please, just give me that.)

He
walked
on
air.
