June marked the 18th anniversary of the original SCP-173 post on 4chan, kicking off this massive and cherished writing project that we are a part of today. And a lot has changed since those early posts from almost two decades ago but the contest team has decided to get back in touch with our roots through
This contest aims to hit that series 1 feeling with very limited CCS, a horror theme, and a hard 1K word limit so be prepeared for a lot of short-form horror coming to the wiki soon.
Writing has already begun but posting will start on the 6th of July and end on the 13th, we hope everyone has a wonderful time!

Participation in these prompts is completely optional, and any pages based on the prompts will be featured in the next issue of Site News!
