A small list of fun-facts about me!
- My username, "lesnoc", is a compound of the Czech words les ("forest") and noc ("night").
- It was impossible for me to sleep as an infant unless Alicia Keys' No One was playing.
- I am a cisgender, gay man who strongly identifies as a bear2.
- Currently, I am a computer science student. Good at programing, but even better at procrastinating.
- According to many, I have an American accent. I have never stepped a foot in America.
- My all-time favorite things are; folklore & myths, video games, D&D, worldbuilding, fandom, most-things fantasy, and most-things horror. These are also the things I draw inspiration from.
- My first encounter with the SCP Foundation was watching Confinement as a 12-year-old. It wasn't until I found
Zal Cryptid’s SCP art that I joined the site.

The idea for this Lost Series piece striked me one night like lightning and I couldn't help but draft it. It's not subtle about its topic. There's definitely room for a larger, stronger story here, but it's not one I currently want to do.

"E is for Eternity"
This article's bleakness, especially when juxtaposed with the idyllic life of an island vacation, captivated my attention all throughout. Plus, I'm a sucker for stories that highlight how horrible an eternal afterlife would truly be.
"Well Enough Alone"
The concept really pulled me in and the topic of the noosphere intrigued me. There's this looming sense of age and nostalgia I keep feeling whenever I re-read this article. The theme's muted yellow background may play into that. The unknownness of the entity compels me. It's wonderful to see how the article makes me feel scared one moment and sad the next.
"America's Newest Billionaire"
The ways in which this article navigates how miserable people can be when others depend on them and the value they can potentially grant them is so good. Also love when an article comments on how the Foundation plays a role in worsening people's lives to uphold their views of normalcy. The “are you going to hunt down the others, too?” was especially soul-crushing.
"I Would Have Made A Fool Of Myself"
Incredibly raw and gut-wrenching. When reading this article, I can feel the anger throughout the writing. It's haunting and compelling, not just because it is really good writing, but because the events described are true.
