My first contribution to the site. I'd been sitting on this idea for about 3 years, originally starting as a stupid bit where he kept predicting 9/11. Eventually decided to take my dementia seer and turn it into an actual article. It took about 3 months of on and off writing, including a month long break after getting crit and hating everything I'd written, followed by a coked up 8 hour rewrite session.

Article was also largely inspired by my great grandmother, who passed a few years ago from dementia, having been an actual seer in her younger days.

I personally think it's a pretty decent first article, and I'm glad it survived on the wiki. Give it a read if you fancy an emotional piece.

sportscon entry with GraveCreations. we were gonna do something else and we ran out of time so we made this in a couple days instead. i spent 4 hours learning how to play mahjong and i am absolute dogshit at the actual game. i am now, however, addicted to mahjong solitaire.

i hope the research helped this with something. i think we could have definitely played up the chud stuff more but i didnt really feel like going super hard on it and making something offensive, given the time frame. thus, the piece is maybe a little muted. i still think it holds up well enough.

My unofficial entry into Dumbcon. Because I'm a contest host, I couldn't actually enter this into the contest, but I wanted to write it anyway. Lead by example. So I took a prompt nobody else wanted, that being "The Urine is Stored in the Balloons", and ran with it.

I also made this in an attempt to prove I can do more than just comedy. It's the main thing I'm known for on the wiki thus far and people don't read my other stuff. So I disguised this as a comedy. It seems to have worked very well according to the comments. I'm very happy with the reception to it.

My 9kcon submission.

First contest entry. First SCP I ever had the idea for at the age of 13. Discarded this baby for what I thought was for good. Then 9kcon dropped as I was finishing my first article and it came back to me during a brainstorming session. And then it kept expanding and expanding into what it is now. It's big without being long. I've never really been a fan of longer articles that drag on and on. I don't want my work to be a time investment.

I wanted to use 9kcon to try something new. I'm training as a screenwriter and have written numerous live shows, making dialogue and character work a major strength of mine. And although I love character based stories, I've always been jealous of how other authors make things that are so inhuman feel so alive. So I wrote about buildings and ruins. And somehow it still ended up being a character-driven piece. I guess old habits die hard.

I do think this is the best thing I've put out so far, even if it doesn't get the same attention a certain slop post got. Give it a read. I think it's pretty good.
