… heeellooooo, this is not bad at all. Perhaps a bit too wordy in the Description, could do with a bit less tech-speak (not really a problem if you like tech-speak, though), but… all in all? Very, very good.

My only request, and something of a nitpick more than a recommendation: it does not need most of the numbers, and I'd particularly recommend removing the "312% in complexity" bit. Saying "It got a lot more complicated, yo!" would be more than enough.

Keep in mind this is just my opinion and that I'm not the most reliable source of review, but really, it deserves my upvote. :)

I really enjoy this one. It is one of the more original parasite SCPs that I've seen.

Th concept is kind of boring, but the backstory is cool. The tone and writing in the description need cleaning up in places, though.

I think you could stand to move the "what it does" up above the "how to avoid it" part of the description. I found myself getting antsy as I read.

That said, I'm impressed that the initial analysis suggests they don't do anything in particular. No crazy to death or anything else. The demonstration of what they're capable of was very well done and definitely makes this work.

To the best of my knowledge, there is no such thing as "Level 3 Hazardous Materials suit." I just went over this on another SCP. I know that not everyone can be expected to know this stuff, but I don't think someone should be allowed to use technobabble based on real-life things if they don't know the real-life things. The UN standards for HAZMAT gear are as follows:

• Class A: Full body, pressurized protection. You won't come into contact with Hazardous Material unless something breaks the suit, which is unlikely.
• Class B: Full body, unpressurized protection. You won't breathe the stuff in, and it probably won't touch your skin, but it's not an all-out spacesuit like Class A protective gear.
• Class C: Full coverage, but unsealed. Air is provided by, to put it in layman's terms, a gas mask, and you won't be expected to deal with highly infectious or irritating materials.
• Class D: Work clothes. You might as well be naked. You end up in a scenario that requires Class A protection in Class D protection, well, I'm sure someone will say something nice at your funeral.

As stated in the title, this a a nitpick. If you DGAF, I'll find a way to live with myself, somehow.

I can't really find anything about UN guidelines for Hazmat suit classifications, but in general, Wikipedia begs to differ. Granted, it's Wikipedia, but as stated there, the US uses "LEVEL + LETTER", while Europe uses "TYPE + NUMBER".

I do a lot of research when I write an SCP. But for some stuff, I'm comfortable inventing a Foundation equivalent to actual existing tech. The Foundation would most likely have its own variation on suits that protected humans from terrible stuff because they have all manner of terrible things that the UN would never have to deal with.

That being said, I will most likely be referring to your comment the next time I write anything that requires HAZMAT. :) One of my favorite things about this site is constantly running into people who know all sorts of interesting and obscure scientific information. Thanks for you comment.

This and this should be helpful. Of course, outside of the firefighting/HAZMAT community, this ^^ isn't common knowledge. I think I'm going to make it my personal mission to correct every firefighting/HAZMAT misconception on this site that I myself am not subject to.

I found this to be pretty boring and pedantic until I got to the broadcast transmission, which totally turned it around for me. I was thinking no-vote, but after reading that bit of well-written cleverness, it's a +1 from me :)

This SCP had infected thousands of people, and apparently has made all of them stop moving for almost 7 minutes. We don't know what this thing really does, which makes it even worse.

Shouldn't there be some mention on how we covered that incident up? And why is this only Euclid?
