By the way, greetings fron the west coast, im a young writer in Honors English hoping to make a difference in making stories
Well, if you're hoping to "make a difference", your first step would be to use correct grammar when making forum posts.
Eh. Grammar is relative. Good ideas are a bonus.

Dr Leonard, if you're going to reply to introductory threads, which are supposed to be a user's first experience with the SCP community as a whole, you need to address them with a friendlier tone and a little more openness. Save critique for forums or mainlist posts.
Hey hey, The Manifest! Welcome to the site! So tell us a bit about your interest in the site! What's your favorite article/tale on the site so far, and/or what's your least favorite article or tale? If you don't have a favorite or least favorite, that's cool too.
Anyway, it's wonderful to have you here! Please don't hesitate to use the chat for feedback on any articles you may write, or just to get to know the community (it can move quick, but you'll get to know some great people there if you're patient/diligent). If and when you decide to write for the site, don't forget to make yourself a sandbox to keep all your unfinished drafts. I look forward to seeing you around the site, and I hope you enjoy your stay! :)
Hey, The Manifest! Welcome to the community! If you're interested in writing SCPs or Tales, be sure to check out the Random SCPs and Random Tales buttons on the sidebar; they can really help direct you to some lesser-known or lesser-loved works on the wiki, and might give you some inspiration. Additionally, whenever you get around to working on your own writing, you might look through the Guide Hub for help with any specific concepts or conditions that you have trouble with. Finally, whenever you need to get critique for a draft or just want to talk with other members of the community, feel free to swing by the SCP Foundation IRC chatrooms on the SynIRC network.
Again, welcome to the community and all of us on the staff hope you have a great stay!
