I like the concept very much, however the whole report is very weak and needs alot of work.

-the containment should be more descriptive, the people who enter the cell should be terminated and autopsied (only autopsied if they were changed)
-I dont think the threat of suspension would do much, they should probably be threatened with termination, your sentences about the language abilities need to be fleshed out.
-Also i dont think a missionary group would be able to contact the organization… they are kinda secretive about what they do, maybe if the group went missing and was found by the native gov't which then led to an agent or the org finding out

these are just some suggestions, you dont have to take any of them. interesting idea though.

Suggestions:

-"SCP-290 enjoys conversation, no personnel are permitted to talk to it, disregard of this order is suspension of 1 week minimum." should be within the Special Containment Procedures. Further, there should be some justification for why personnel are not allowed to talk to the SCP.

-"SCP-290 is to be held… at all times. SPC-290 is to never leave…" is a bit redundant. Perhaps these two sentences can be rephrased as "SCP-290 is to be held in a 10x10x10 holding cell located 20 meters underground at all times. SCP-290 is not to be permitted to come into contact with any organic matter."

-Why is it so important that SCP-290 kept away from organic material? Why does SCP-290 deserve the Keter class designation? These questions need to be answered within the description of the SCP, otherwise this SCP should be reclassified as Safe especially considering that it was captured with "no trouble at all'.

I've got a pretty good idea for this one but it is going to change it around quite a bit. I'll post what I'm thinking in the test area before I put it up before it goes up here. Does anyone care if I change this one around?

I tweaked it a bit, though not nearly as much as it needs. The idea is sound and has serious potential, but the article itself is not quite up to par (not that I have any idea how to improve it so).

I'm noticing that there's no description whatsoever of what 290's victims experience while inside. Do they have any memory of what went on inside? If so, what do they remember? If they remember much of anything, one would expect some pretty severe emotional/psycological side effects from the trauma.

It could also help to add a note about the results of autopsies of D-class test subjects post-alteration.

I think that all references to the SCP inside the description should be replaced so it doesn't sound redundant. Words like "object", "sphere" (if you are referring to a specific part of the SCP) or "device" if you are referring to the entire thing should be used instead.
