I was planning on posting this in January buuuuut I may have gotten impatient, so here it is. Thanks to Cyantreuse for being my sole source of feedback on this before the temptation to post became too great!

Absolutely incredible. The situation in this world is quickly brought to a sufficiently explained point, then leading to the events of the "test".
I always hated it, when someone says "The monster should not be explained", as that is the only interesting thing in horror and sci fi for me, and this is a perfect middle ground between "I have no clue what just happened" and "I can now write history book about ancient bigfoot civilization"
