You probably shouldn't be tagging the article yourself, though.

Pretty good! All the actual interest here is in the interview logs and what they imply, but fortunately what they imply is interesting.

ZombieYorick, please don't self-upvote, it's against the rules and generally considered to be in poor taste. Let your article stand up on its own merits!

Anyway, I kind of like this article. The transcript logs are a bit long but on the whole I think this is at least an interesting idea.

I didn't find this SCP that interesting. Felt a bit 'meh' about it, didn't think I'd upvote or downvote. It was written well, but it just didn't grab me.

And then I got to the transcript logs, which were well written and quite interesting too! The exact same pause times at the beginnings, and the clever answers filled in a lot of the story of this SCP. The fact that the logs were both 1 sided conversations made it all the more impressive that they were so good.

I think this is fantastic. I want to know so much more, which is always a good sign.

I do have one suggestion, though. Calling the people in the logs "Subject A" and "Subject B" carries with it some subtle implications that you probably don't intend. It makes it seem as if they were the only two people fully observed, or like they were somehow connected (like they were being tested for two different outcomes or something). It's a little hard to explain the kind of subtle connotations that terms can have, so I hope I'm communicating it well enough. The bottom line is, I would probably change them to something along the lines of "Subject 2055-17" and "Subject 2055-38."

Kind of you to say, I was aware when I was writing this that I was walking a fine line in terms of how much I gave away.

And thank you for the suggestion. I think you're definitely right, using "Subject A" and "Subject B" implies that these are comprehensive and/or sequential examples of SCP-2055 when I intended for them to be two illustrative "random" examples.

Best practice in relation to SCP-2055 is currently limited to constant monitoring of key personnel and the suppression of public knowledge.

Should be a 'the' in front of the sentence.

In the event of automated monitors being triggered the nearest available security officers should be alerted and authorised to carry out immediate physical intervention.

Should be a comma between triggered and the. Authorised is spelled Authorized.

In cases where remote monitoring has allowed SCP-2055 to be interrupted, affected individuals have become highly agitated and resistant.

This doesn't need to be in the containment procedures.

Once removed from the location of onset, abnormal behaviours cease, with the individual exhibiting no memory of preceding events.

Ditto this.

Due to the difficulty in predicting the occurrence, prevalence or individual outcomes of SCP-2055, constant surveillance is currently the only certain counter-measure.

This has already been stated as the first line in the containment procedures.

The logs should probably be put in collapsibles just for neatness.

Thanks for the feedback, I'm not sure about using "the best practice", "best practice" is more common in policy/research papers and whether or not it is strictly grammatically correct I've often seen the phrase used at the start of a sentence and it scans fine to me.

Authorised is the correct spelling in english although I understand americans use "authorize" and its derivatives. Are US spelling prescribed on the site?

Thanks for the head up, will make the logs collapsible as they are fairly long.

I'd like to lay in my opinions against Soulless' here and say that

a) 'Best practice' is definitely correct and 'the best practice' is incorrect in this instance - they have subtly different meanings and should be used in slightly different contexts

b) A comma is not necessary where you have indicated, and 'authorised' is a perfectly legitimate spelling of the word

c) Methods of dealing with affected individuals are very much part of containment when the SCP is a phenomenon which affects large numbers of people

d) Agree with you about the redundancy in your penultimate point

e) I don't really think collapsing the logs is necessary. They're such an integral part of the piece. I think collapsing them will (incorrectly) project that all-too-familiar twist incoming feeling.
