This is silly, but that's good thing.
This straddles the line between joke and mainlister. I think this could go either way. I like it, but if you get a lot of complaints, don't be afraid to ham it up a bit and tack a -J on the end!
I like it. Is the "Grog" one a reference to SCP-1435?
I was going to complain that we already have a nightlight that summons a humanoid when turned on, but then it got to Satan reading bedtime stories and I just fell in love. This demon is so damned personable, and I just love this whole thing to death.
Also did you reference one of my SCPs oh my god :D
For some reason I can't help but picture the demon here as a sort of younger, modern Mister Rogers. Which is *the best thing*.
This is too silly for me, and not terribly interesting. It's too winking to be a mainlister, but not funny enough to be a -J.
You know, I loved the skip's personality, liked the possible stories, and damn! I'd buy the book if I could. And even seriously thinking about writing those stories in my sandbox just to see what happens. Yeah, I like this a lot. +1
E: I feel like that last addendum should be in a different format, but that's my personal taste. Still too cute to downvote it.
