When this idea was pitched, I spoke up regarding a concern that has not been addressed - namely, that the output only reflects votes as they are in the now. We're not seeing the order of articles as they were in their given year, but rather in order of which have seen the most inflation over time.

It might not seem like much of a distinction, and it may not even be possible to draw vote-total "snapshots" from the end of any given year, but I feel as though that'd be preferable over the current ordering.

ETA: upon checking the edit history, it looks like the year was updated mid-way. I guess sure, we can add it.
