L.U.C.A.S is here folks.
Woo, LUCAS is finally here, glitching his way into your hearts :)
Thanks to everyone in chat who helped make this a reality!

0/10, try harder.
+1
I dunno, I use greentext outside of 4chan regularly.

So this is…a sentient game software bug. It can't get outside the game, but it's aware that it's in the game, and can hear its players.
Well executed writing, but I'm getting zero unease and not much sense of wonder.
What would happen if two instances of Lucas met and iteracted? Could an interview log hint that there are similar anomalies in other games? Is there an origin story to be had here?
I think this may be the best video game-based SCP we've had. There's some ineffable quality to it, maybe that you passed a bunch of normal pitfalls over: it's a glitch instead of all the games, it doesn't work in ROMs, it's self-aware but only to a point, it's friendly. I love that it helps you beat the game at the cost of itself, that really gives it a lot of character.
I was going to critique the chatlog, but then you had this:
>Not using lucas
Casual detected
Love it.
I really didn't enjoy this. The first addendum was cringe-worthy and pointless both in-universe and out and overall this is just a rather dull addition to the whole "thing what shouldn't be sapient is sapient" crowd.
I loved it in the chat and i love it here. +1 theres just so much personality in lucas thats for some reason difficult to place and very subtle
I would upvote, but the fact that the foundation is just letting these glitched cartridges stay with their owners.
No vote.
How could they possibly do otherwise? It's not like they have a record of every game sold.
