It's done. We finally have a defenestration skip. They said it couldn't be done. Or rather that it shouldn't be done… but we did it anyway goddamn it.

I'd like to give a huge thank you to my coauthor: Modern_Erasmus, who looked at my original concept for my defenestration skip, and essentially said "this is bad, let me help you make it better". Also he was the one who pushed me to make this more of a historical skip too which was definitely the right move. So three hurrahs for him!

I'd also like to thank my critiquers: Conwell, HumidHermit, AKFrost, Meserach, magnadeus, and Eskobar

It very much seems like this exists just to have a defenestration skip rather than being born of any legitimate idea beyond "lol defenestration". Which I'm sure is how a lot of articles are born but it seems particularly glaring here. It's too competent to downvote but I can't upvote in good faith.

Also, if I'm not mistaken, the Junius pamphlet was Rosa Luxemburg, not Lenin.

Thanks for the error spot, it’s fixed.

I think the general sense you’re getting is more from the fact that the creation of this was a bit roughshod due to a lot of delays in writing it, which was my fault. I had a busy few months and it resulted in this piece being less cohesive than it could have been, but I’m still happy with how it turned out.
