Addendum-01 made me giggle like a small child. The rest is great, and sheds a little light on how SCP may operate. Still, I liked the humor delivered absolutely deadpan in the midst of a very serious entry. Well done.
Changed from Keter to Euclid. I considered making it Safe, but the program's not yet a finished product.
[Edit:] Reverted to Keter before the Mass Edit. Suggest change to Euclid when the time comes.
I don't like the idea of the Foundation intentionally creating new SCP objects.
i doubt this was intentional. i suppose they predicted a solid block of copper. when observed with a microscope, reviled trillions of clockwork connections, or some shit.
I like this SCP overall, and I am used to Foundation researchers creating SCPs (Cassy, for instance), but I don't think a military weapons development program is appropriate. The Addendum is funny, but I feel the implied sadism works against the well-written article.
Creating SCPs is one thing… Creating KETER SCPs is another thing entirely…
Maybe this ought to be moved to -EX now that -EX is a thing? It fits the criteria perfectly.

I know this is a delayed reply, but…
…what?
hm
Good question…
I think I was trying to get at the fact that the Foundation understands this SCP perfectly, since we made it, and therefore it's Explained.
And for the record, this is Safe.
Voct isn't the only one to question this object class.
Quik proposed changing this to Euclid or Safe a long time ago, but we didn't really have a mechanism for that at the time. Now we do.
Fellow staff/mods/admins: Thoughts on changing this classification?
This is Safe. I would support adjusting the classification as needed.
Whether you like it or not, history is on our side. We will bury you!
Safe sounds good to me.

Done.
Piffy is an SCP Foundation Moderator, Lv. 9001 Squishy Wizard, and Knight of the Red Pen.
The containment on this is grotesquely overblown.
It's a computer program. A computer program that can only have its anomalous effects when it is run. Why do we need to keep it on a computer at all, much less a LAN? I mean, if you have to keep it on a computer, then obviously you don't want it on the Internet so you'd keep it on a LAN, but holy shit explosives that go off if you mistype your password three times and deaf guards ?!
Shit. Look, just keep the program on a CD-ROM, and keep the CD-ROM in a locked box. Make a few copies of the disk, keep them separately. Only run it if you have written permission from site command for approved experimentation. Don't connect the computer to any network at all. Use TEMPEST shielding to prevent Van Eck phreaking. Only test it in a soundproofed room, with the experimenter on the outside and the D-class on the inside.
Format the hard drive at the end of every testing session, replace the CD-ROM in its locked box.
Simple, yes?

Eh, while the addendum was funny, I don't feel this deserves to be a full-fledged SCP to begin with, considering that not only did we make it, but we more or less understand how it works. Sure, it's dangerous, but unlike other potentially-weaponizable SCPs like 044, this isn't anomalous in any way. We were just lucky in making a sound that hypnotizes any listeners.
