I don't like this mostly bc of that its not a original idea. There are many gun scp like the living gun, plus there even more weapon scp like knife and guns. Plus i don't like the idea that a gun can fire every ammunition in the world. -1
yknow kind of silly reasons to downvote, just because one person has done it doesn't automatically mean nobody else can

Doctor North was here. Just don't let South know, or East….never tell East.
I quite like the connections to real world science history, it shows a real care for research that I think improves most kinds of writing. I like, as well, how quickly you overcome the cliche of a gun with "cool" properties, and reveal the more significant effect, that has little to do with its function as a gun, but only could have been revealed after extensive testing of the more obvious effect. It's a nice little reminder that, in universe, the Foundation can never lose sight of the fact that if they don't understand how an anomaly works, they can't be sure they know all its properties, either.
There seems to be more of a mystery involved here, with the fragments of recovered document, and the mystery end note, but I wish I had a little more of a clue as to what that's about?
It was originally more spelled out but the general reaction I received was it was better kept vague.
The documents are basically a bug report on our universe (which is a computer simulation, a concept I was told was pretty cliche), in which SCP-2908 is corrupting the memory location where the elementary charge was being kept.
O5-10 basically told the simulators that we don't know what would actually happen if the bug was fixed, because for all we know our universe may be dependent on the bug to continue operating, just like Dr. Jekyll's cure required an unknown impurity in his initial batch of salt to work, and thus Jekyll was unable to make more cures due to the newer batches being actually pure. So the foundation will simply put the gun in a box and be done with it without attempting the fix.
