Been reading the SCP series for a long time, and decided to try my hand at it.
And, in case it comes up, I am indeed aware that it's somewhat like SCP-256. Not intentional.

I'm liking it. Good concept, and well written.
To believe it all started here…..

I loved the entire back and forth. Anyone ever wonder if the calculator is Eric? Probably a bad idea, but 168 wasn't sure about it's name at first, it also holds Eric in such high regard.
This is a really nice idea. I also loved that 168 got angry when he was left alone in the dark. He also missed Eric. A calcutor not only capable of talking but also of emotion and somewhat "humanity" is very interesting.

No, it's not. The one on Commons is a 28-S, the one here is a 28-C.
I can't find the original source for our image, but it should be easily replaceable, because there's a ton of pictures of 28C's that look very much like that one.
Pretty damn good, especially for your first one.
I love it. Great job. I wonder what would happen if you ask it to divide by zero?
Now that you've mentioned that I think it would be fun to see the SCP get into an argument with one of the researchers about whether you can divide by zero or not…
Considering how long it takes to divide sixty-four by eight, dividing by zero might kill the poor little guy.
I wonder if SCP-182 would pick anything up from him?
The part about a boy leaving him accidentally in school actually is a little sad. Who knows, it might have been Eric's only childhood friend.
It also seems that it might have been the other way around as well… =c
