This is a rewrite of an old SCP called "Milk and Bananas", done at the request of Clef.
The original SCP is still viewable at SCP Classic, but the original author has been lost to time.

It's well-written stylistically per usual standards, it's a serious article which we apparently need desperately more of, and the milk-and-bananas thing is handled in such a way that we're not hammered over the head with the implications here. With a little more depth I would upvote, but I'm not quite there yet.
I am downvoting, however, as I just can't maintain any suspension of disbelief when the main picture is straight from the ED creepypasta page. Find a different picture and/or remove the picture, and I'll neutral vote.
I was not aware that this picture existed there, though considering the age of the original article, I wonder which came first. I'll see what I can do.
I wonder if a better image could be photoshopped? Would be something I could help with, though I could use some help finding an appropriate base image to work from.

I was wondering because of my current draft, but I found an appropriate picture for it.
First:

Second: what exactly does it plan to do with milk and bananas? It doesn't even have a mouth. For that matter, the page doesn't address how the hell this thing is even alive.
Third: The first description paragraph is too long. I suggest splitting it up.
Fourth: The recovery story seems shoehorned into an SCP that wouldn't have much going for it otherwise.
Fifth: That picture is laughably small. I distinctly recall seeing a larger version on the original article. My recollection seems to be wrong. Still, it's too small.

Definitely well-written, but just kinda… boring? I wasn't really interested at any point and for that reason I am down-voting.

My first thought was "Isn't that image already an SCP?"
So now I need to ask, what the heck is SCP Classic?
There was a wipe of scp's a while back when we changed the standards of what was needed. The classics are what were deleted.
The picture IS indeed used in another SCP, namely SCP-228.
