I wrote this in about two hours. The Halloween Contest gave me some inspiration for a tale (not related to the contest of course) and I just had to get it out there.

Is the creature meant to be one of the creatures from 3333 or is it just something you made up off the top of your head?

Neither. It's Mothman. I just used him because he's always been my favorite cryptid.

Ah. Reminded me a lot of 3333’s monsters (which are basically mothman) and I totally forgot he was a thing.

Pedant point: the word 'meer' in the last paragraph is almost certainly intended to be 'mere'.
