Shouldn't the latitudes and longitudes be blacked out or something? It seems like a massive security oversight to me, given that these are emergency evac points and all.
I made it Safe instead of Safe/Euclid. I can't see anything Euclid about it at all (if you leave it alone, nothing happens).
[Edit:] Reverted to Safe/Euclid before the Mass Edit. Suggest reclassify as Safe when the time comes.
I suppose this is the sort of thing that might be used by O5, and only safe objects can do that…
Euclid means it does something weird that pysics as we know it cannot and will not explain, how does teleporting you to the moon NOT qualify it for Euclid?
I'd imagine it's because, while we don't understand why or how it works, the end to the means is predictable. In other words, it does the same thing every time it's used. In my opinion, the Safe/Euclid classification is justified.
Aldaris, you're completely and totally wrong. Read this for insight on what the security classes actually mean, and do try not to spout off opinions as fact in the future.
No harm done, yoric.
Seconding change to Safe-class. Multi-class SCPs had better have a good reason for it, and I can't see any reason here.
Looks like we've forgotten about this one…
I'm for changing it to Safe (despite my previous statement to the contrary). I'd third MrUnimport's seconding, but I'm still a mere peon, and my opinion doesn't carry such weight.
I love the idea of a hidden moon base and the mental image of this cloud of bodies floating around at the Lagrange points tickles me for some reason. A great source of biologicals if/when we get around to building space stations there.

Me too, I love the moon base. This SCP is so neat, but every time I read it I think about how brutal it is to the D-class. "The Himalayas aren't necessarily deadly? Well too bad, we're killing you anyway." I understand why they'd have to do it with no one there to retrieve them, but I still feel bad. :P
In the process of learning CGI, I made an image for this SCP because it was the simplest thing I could think of.

That's pretty damn neat. Ought to get approval to add that.
Thirded.
I know some pages have multiple images appear on them, randomised when the page is generated. Could be interesting if this image could be made to generate the five possible colours.
The SCP Ship in position of Location 1 is currently decommissioned. I recommend blacking out the name of the ship's public identity as displaying it would also be a great security oversight.
Just so we're clear, you know that forum posts are supposed to be out of character, right? This is right on the line, maybe a little over.
Also, the ship's public identity is redacted.
Greenland looses about 267 billion tonnes of ice annually, what if someone used 120 in, say 50 years and dropped to their death? Wouldn`t that be fun?

I love that there's nothing about the missing children. That's really where the article hammers in the horror, thinking about these kids. I also agree we should add that picture from above in, looks wonderful for the article.
Read, review, rate, O My Childrewn
This really is one of my favorite SCPs on the site. I utterly love space stuff, and the idea that the Foundation has a fully functional Lunar base is one I adore. The fact that they created it by intentional mass-murder on an epic scale makes it even better, because, to me, it illustrates how the Foundation is totally heartless. Someone decided that creating a private moonbase was worth the extermination of thousands, maybe even TENS of thousands of lives, and decided that was an acceptable tradeoff.
Essentially: "Yay, we have a moonbase! We only had to kill the entire population of New York City to do it!"

Wait, why was this brought up for review?
Because I thought more people should read it. Not all calls for review are "Kill it! Kill it with fire!"

Eh. It's at +96. I wouldn't have done it, but whatever.
