EDIT: And I AM DONE!

The GOC Canon is now open for editing.

The hub page is divided into three sections. The first contains all the background information about the Coalition, and all of the cool stuff like threat entity files and handbooks that make up the world background.

The second page is made up of personnel profiles. Whether they're author avatars or characters in your stories, put your information here. At the moment, it's a bit spartan, but it'll get fleshed out soon.

The third page is for tales. If your tale is part of a series, create a tab for it. Otherwise, put it under Misc. Tales.

I did like the idea of GOC. It answers the question we all had when we first saw this wiki: "Why aren't they just destroying this stuff?". Well, because GOC is already doing that!

This is pretty good, it's good to see some more fleshing out of a GOI. I appreciate the GOC Organizations the most, it is some nice food for thoughts.

Side note: There should be something like this for other GOI's. The UIU could certainly use some fleshing out.

Like the seal, but minor nitpick however… why are the top words 'education' and 'survival' upside-down? I don't know, most seals I've seen adjust lettering to avoid that.

I'd personally tie Scarlet Hammer into GRU-P and not another Soviet-era department. Nothing much would need to be changed honestly. Just where their membership came from.

The above was written out of a very strong tendency to tie everything together as much as possible. As has been pointed out to me since, it's entirely plausible that under the Soviet-era governments, several internally warring departments would have responsible for overlapping fields of expertise.

Because of the current content involving them or because of the background itself? 'Cause having an ex-KGB group doing underworld business sounds kind of neat.

Well, background is usually shaped by content, so that would be root cause. I've written a scip that I used to flesh it out more and a tale, but there should really be more. Like I said in another thread recently, GRU-P should really not be "The Foundation/GOC, but RUSSIAN!". There's a lot to work with, but it just has to be done.

There's just not a lot done for them and they don't stand out as having their own distinct character very often, and like the Iranian GOI, they were largely the brainchild of one specific user with an interest in the subject.

That being said, I do use them in my Cold War tales.

Sh-shut up! The ORIA has lots of support! It just has yet to manifest is all.

But yeah, ORIA/GRU-P are both kind of limited in terms of what they can do. I'm working on some stuff for both which will hopefully flesh them out a little, but the "enh" reaction is totally understandable.
