I love you Chandra <3
So this is an MC&D format to tie in with Darkstuff's series Vend-A-Friend. We figured Brainy's ability to make new bodies was something that MC&D would be very interested in, and the story just kind of evolved organically from there.
Thanks to everyone on chat who gave feedback on this, especially Lazar, since without them this would have ended at Hr'asm'Kal's memo.
I’m increasingly bored of Carter’s increasing stupidity. He’s effectively an occult Donald Trump and about as entertaining.
Honestly, I agree. I've overused him at this point, and I think I'm going to lay off making him the butt monkey for a while. I'm going to try to use him sparingly, if at all, and when I do use him maybe try to give him a somewhat more well-rounded portrayal.
I might also use the phrase "He’s effectively an occult Donald Trump and about as entertaining" at some point. I like that.
Salvaging our relations with the Oneiroi is crucial, not only for economic reasons but also because we cannot afford to make enemies with a global incorporeal hivemind that can invade our dreams.
This line cracks me up a bit, I can just imagine these occult businessmen all glaring at Ruprecht at a board meeting and him just shrinking into his chair. Everyone is thinking "Dammit Ruprecht, you pissed off the dream wizards".
Images localised!
Also, I'm pretty sure you made those images but could you please say if you did or credit whoever if you didn't
Been reading a bunch of the MC&D items. Wanted to leave my remarks on this one because it made me laugh really loudly.
Great use of format to convey story, and at a really good pace!
+1
Is the wonder world calendar system actually documented somewhere, e.g. (as implied by the friendly neighborhood demon) the WL wiki? I would love to know how it converts, and subject to a few conditions, may want to use it myself.
Speaking of the friendly neighborhood demon, the detail that he/it/whatever types in all caps was nice, I didn't notice the Checkovi's gun until it fired and I laughed as I realized who the sender was.
All in all, great article, +1
