The seed of this idea was, as with everything I write now, a joke in the Third Law chatroom. This was originally supposed to be a collab between Taffeta and me but I wrote like 75% of it all in one go and there was nothing left to collab on. GreenWolf, Taffeta, TyGently, NineVolt and A Random Day all helped out with ideas and crit. And it's tagged as goi-format, not tale, because I have at least one more of these in the pipeline and consistency is key.
I'm so happy to have gotten into TLW and Portlands, this is some damn good stuff.
I love this a lot, that's just ignoring how much I appreciate the appearance of Val Dell in it. Hats off for nailing the worldbuilding and the Three Portlands vibe.

This is absolutely brilliant, and brings back good memories of reading the satirical campus newspaper when I was in college. I think my favorite part of this whole article is the subtle implication that Art Garfunkel has an illegitimate daughter who became a wizard… which is the kind of sentence that could only make sense on SCP.
Honestly, these 3ports stuff reminds me of WTNV in the best way possible.
And its fucking great +1

I'm not previously familiar with the canon here and happened across this purely by chance, but I'm breaking a years-long lurk streak to say that this is fantastic and, somehow, absolutely nails roller derby. I KNOW someone who tried to attach spurs to their skates. +1
I usually wait until I finish reading something before giving it an upvote, but the opening paragraph alone was enough to get my +1, and the rest of this only served to reinforce that decision.
