I enjoyed this. I'm really not a fan of the self insert though. (Not a self insert, sorry about that.)
If you wrote this, you should also post it in the Announcements forum. If the site member "Sirpendragon" wrote this, it feels like a self insert, but I withdraw my comment if it wasn't him.
-Yes I'm aware pendragon is a word.
oh, sorry. Meant to vaugely reference Uther Pendragon, father of King Arthur as sort of an allusion. I'll change the names.
You can check who wrote an article by looking at "History". Which you probably should have done before accusing someone of self-inserting.
Yeah I totally forgot about that, guess I know for next time.
You know, you probably shouldn't take one person's opinion that they would upvote this and assume it represents the entire site.
On the article: I agree with most of what Kalinin said, but my main problem is that I'm not sure why they would allow a D-Class to test it. The only way they would have found this is if someone wore and its anomalous properties occured. Wouldn't they know not to let a D-Class near it?
Unless it's Kalinin's upvote. If he upvotes something, it has to be good ;)
Broken formatting. Format screw that is really close to being a rip-off of the toaster. Thing what compels you. Incredibly silly renfair dialogue. Tacked-on narrative that doesn't really fit the item that succeeds merely in making the article too long.
Downvoted hard.
Yeah I thought it felt like a ripoff of the format as well, but the fact that the people under its effect have overtaken the site and turned it into a royal castle was cute enough to carry it for me.
I know in my heart that this can succeed! Whether that happens after it gets taken down and rehashed, or fixes according to criticism are made. I've got faith in you author.
Daedalus, this is a good idea, but you should have waited for more input before posting. I know it's exciting to have an idea that's clicking, but you've got to evolve this a bit longer. For example: Use the "real" article that the rest of the Foundation uses as a clear framing device and scale back the memetic effects so that the divide between the crazies and everyone else is more obvioys. Quotation boxes maybe?
Remember that this document is written for an outside observer. I'm not sure there's a need to involve the writer of the document with the memetic effect; keep a clear border.
Neutral for now, but this can be successful.
Or maybe you can find a way to incorporate that even though they've all been infected, they are still running the site at its most basic level (securing, containing, protecting and writing reports). You could then explain that this report was recovered from them.

I know it wasn't gibberish, but someone on the inside was badly trying to convince everyone else who wasn't in on the plan that the phrases meant nothing, or at least delay someone catching on that there was a reason the guard spoke directly at the camera.
Sorry if I mucked up Latin a bit.
◾SCP-1561 - [ACCESS DENIED]
Ya forgot to change the title. :I
I think I saw some minor typos, but this is actually a pretty novel idea. Get it cleaned up and I can up vote it.
Stuff similar to it's been done before, but I quite like this. Upvoted.
