A tale on the shorter side for this series, which I suppose is making up for how long the last chapter was. Plot is happening! Yay! And also, this series is definitively coming to a close. There are only three more chapters planned, and then one bonus chapter, so four more Vend-a-Friend installments! Big thank you to DrChandra for helping get some Icky lines that actually felt like Icky saying them. Next chapter I should be able to lose the training wheels and write her on my own, hopefully. And now the "imaginary" chapters are just as long as the non-imaginary ones! I have been loving writing this series. Hopefully y'all are having fun reading it.

Definitely had fun reading this. Seeing Brainy using his powers for good is most satisfying. I don't know if he's on a redemption arc, but he's a more sympathetic character than he started out as. The sheer feeling he shows to Pepper is heartening.

Also, I'm embarrassed at how long it took me to suss out the joke behind Pepper, a ghost who lives in a mirror.
