I like it. It's fucking with my mind though. I keep having to remind myself I'm reading the alternate reality version because whatever we type up appears on their end. :P
This is actually a lot like what I was setting up with SCP-1383, which is about someone from a similar alternate universe, and like the corresponding in-universe document from over there that I posted to the Wanderer's Library. Except this is much more serious and well-crafted.
I like all the absence of sharks in this article. All the numerology and esoteric stuff is also nice.
Sometimes the absence of sharks is more dangerous than actual sharks.
Are We C—l Yet?
Maybe I'm being finicky, but overall I felt the article lacked punch.
Your puns won't make you the center of attention.
Who's ever been attacked by the absence of a shark?
Come to think of it, I'm not entirely sure 055 isn't not a shark…
When I understood what was happening, and then saw 'SPC', I thought Djoric had main-listed an ironic article regarding sharks. From that I assumed I was in for a treat, because if it was good enough to be a -j surviving on the main list, it must be pretty freaking amazing.
With that expectation in mind, I was pretty disappointed. Just kidding mostly, I liked it.
Neutral vote in all.
This was Thoroughly enjoyable to read. I love the casual and unexplained references to aspects of their society which afford all sorts of speculation as to what kind of world they live in. Take my very enthusiastic +1.
Definitely an interesting take on the format, and one of the better alternate artifact documentation schemes I've read.
One wonders if the Foundation really is fucking things up by using the item number and the Keter object class so freely, or if conditions are such that it would only be a problem in the SPCverse.
if your reading this your gay
Damn good work. It took me a minute to realize that this was "our" version of the document due to the anomaly. And I'll agree that this is one of the best format screws I've experienced.
+1. Good show.
Oof. Metaversal Merge Scenarios can be nightmarish.
+1
Had to read it twice to finally understand what was going on, it was worth the effort +1.
