I really like the butterfly effect element to this. It's a clever twist on containment. And agreement with drewbear, best containment failure ever.
Coulda sworn it was a repost, turns out I was right. I find it much more plausible and straightforward this time around, and the noodle incident elements jive with me. Nice work.

This is fantastically bizarre, and I love it. It's one gigantic Noodle Incident, and despite the fact that it's therefore basically just playing a very old trope to the hilt, it's nevertheless very well-executed. Also, I spent the entire article torn between "LOL" and "WTF?"; that strong an emotional response is often grounds for an upvote in and of itself.

I love how this is like 80% containment, even in the description. And as wacky as they are, the procedures leave enough out to still be intriguing. Goes to show not everything has to be Montauk to work. I also love that this makes me wonder just how much of that procedure is actually necessary. I mean, did they just start doing the exact same thing or have they tested it at all? Can they even test it, given that failure is generally going to be catastrophic?
My one question: why is "DOCUMENT" in all caps?

This is ludicrous in the best possible ways. I've always adored the idea that, despite all of their resources, the Foundation is constantly overlooking something incredibly fundamental about the things they contain, which is why they grasp so desperately to whatever works regardless of how insane it is. Sometimes that insanity looks like 110-Montauk, and sometimes it looks like this.
The best part, per my headcanon, is that if the Foundation would just bite the bullet and hire a few competent Serpent's Hand types as consultants to look this over, most of it would prove monstrously unnecessary. I picture a conversation something along the lines of, "You know you could just have the little girl throw a drop of squirrel milk over her shoulder and do away with the rest of this right?"

So, so crazy. It feels like it'd strain plausibility less if it had something implying that it took more than one try to get the protocol right given how precise it seems to be, but that doesn't bug me nearly enough to not upvote.
