Its good, but you could add another chat part were it shows the consequences of the Foundation intercepting the box.
This is a nice little story. I like the realism of the chatlogs, and the sort of kindness it takes to do this while working around pacifism. Also, the dad's absurd traumatising piece works as a good satire of how abusive parents' actions seem totally bizarre to someone outside that situation (like Jude).
This is a well done SCP. You told it through a clever and unique way of world-building. The chat-logs seem very human and realistic, helping the story's tone greatly. I couldn't get this anomaly out of my head once read. +1
It's sad.
I get it, scp, secure it all, but im feeling for the kid.
I'd almost want this scp to go lost in some raid event and end up with horner.
Character building, nicely done.
Don't quite get what the hand does, but that's probably just me.
Anywho, solid +1.
EDIT:
So if someone holds the hand, their biological father temporarily vanishes for a while?
Now it's got me thinking, what if you do this but you were adopted…
As I understand it the father of the subject becomes unable to perceive or remember the subject. No harm is done to the father of the subject.

Mm Mm Good
This made me feel feelings that no other article on this site has made me feel. Great job, op
