This stupid, stupid article came out of a stupid, stupid idea I had after Alexandria Eternal did way too well in the 4000 Contest.

What if the entire library was shonen manga, exaggerated appropriately? It seems a terrible, brilliant, terrible idea.

Sadly, djkaktus has beaten me to the punch and already spoofed Taboo, but sod it, I think this is funny.

Wrong, Teddy Roosevelt's entry was actually more subdued than his real life. The Foundation toned down Teddy's exploits to prevent the leaks of at least half of the SCPs currently catalogued.

My disappointment that you didn't use Fate/Grand Order or Apocrypha version of Joan d'Arc¹ aside, this is just…not particularly funny. It's just as you say it, Alexandria Eternal but filled with manga² and in the end it's still the same as the original, a library of humanity. The humor part of various manga-ified public figure was eclipsed by the nature of the information within. It doesn't introduce new twists and the addition of various superfluous references and convoluted SCP text just turn me off, since they're not what you should be focusing in the first place and just bogging the article down.

I'm afraid it's -1 from me.

I found this increasingly exasperating as it went on. I think there's an Assassin's Creed reference, and I don't know anything about Assassin's Creed; there is definitely an Abraham Lincoln, Vampire Hunter reference in there. When your main joke is pop culture reference itself, adding in references to other types of media does not strengthen it.

And we really don't need a -J parody of every 4kcon entry. 2boo is plenty. -1

In my defense, this was written independently of 2boo. After spending two months with 4001, I needed to spoof it.

Genuinely snickered at this. My only wish would be to have more historical figures. I would love to know how this library would interpret someone like Nicolai Tesla. +1

Edit: Laser battles between Tesla and Edison on giant mechas. In space.
