I know we have at least one SCP on the theme of airline flights where anomalous things happen in midair, but I don't think any of them have focused on the alienation in the boarding/disembarking process, and this one does a decent job of alluding to that. Nice implementation of my idea, too.

One small nitpick: when I suggested that the conditions would read better phrased differently, I meant that they should all be reworded that way, not just the example I used. Now they look even more inconsistent.

I upvoted very early into my reading, and was not disappointed. I don't even quite know what is supposed to be going on exactly, but I loved it anyway. I loved the visual of the communes being built out of luggage, and people scavenging for supplies from new luggage being brought into the airport.

+1. Interesting, unique, and quite creepy. I will say that the addendum could use some clarity… it's a little confusing as written.

Is there supposed to be some underlying, hidden thing going on here beyond what is written? I didn't catch it.

Ehh…I can tell you put some work into this, but the payoff felt kind of weak. And this is esoteric on the "somewhat frustrating" side rather than the "really intriguing" side".

So, neutral vote.

One quibble. If there are specific conditions in which the anomalous event manifests, why go through the trouble of bugging and tracking every flight?

EDIT: Just reread it, and it says that the conditions won't manidest if there are Foundation personnel on board. Wouldn't it be easier to just have an Agent attend each flight that left the airport, rather than waste resources bugging every flight?

I read the bugging/tracking as more aimed at research than containment.
Transferring 45 year old copilots and restricting coke is to prevent the "layover" from happening, planting bugs is to find out what goes on when it does happen.

Of course, if my reading is right, the bugs really shouldn't be mentioned in the containment procedures.
