If the page you are on "looks fine," it is most likely (but not certainly) because its theme is overriding the SCP Wiki's default Sigma-10 theme. If you were to then navigate to a Sigma-10 page, such as the Front Page, it would likely appear broken.
Alternatively, if you know for sure that Sigma-10 is loading, the error is most likely mistakenly appearing because you switched the Sigma-10 theme to a different theme using the ThemePreviewer module or another similar feature. If this is the case, and you are the author of the page, add the following code to it to remove the warning:
[[module css]]
#top-bar .ios-cache-issue-notification {
display: none !important;
}
[[/module]]

I saw a "Dr.[][][][][]" in there and changed it to a blackbox. Hope that was okay. :)
Edit: Never mind, Observer fixed it. Overall I like the concept here, and seeing how people reacted to the SCP was an interesting read. +1.
Edit edit: I find the collapsibles irritating, I didn't see that very last addendum because of them.
Oh god, it's Nanageddon!
And yet, it still creeps me out.
I think the list of assorted "grandma"-related diminutives ought to have each item in quoties.
That said, creepy as hell.

I don't really understand the containment procedures.
In all instances, SCP-1911 continues to occupy the residence until the target expires or leaves for an extended period of time
So wouldn't it make more sense (and be more ethical) to simply abduct and imprison the target for some time, then give them amnesiacs, instead of re-enacting Sloth's fate from Se7en with them?
Be more ethical? Sure.
Make more sense? No, because that messes up the containment, and that's the whole purpose here. We contain.
Love this. One question:
SCP-1911 continues to occupy the residence until the target expires or leaves for an extended period of time
Hate to requote what was quoted above, but the salient point here is, just how long is that? A variable length of time? Is there a minimum?
Why would the Foundation push that to find out? They'd lose containment. If they knew for sure—or even a rough estimate—it would be different. But they're not about to lose containment when the information they have is functional.

Why do you want to risk breaking containment? Do you hate America? Is that it? Do you hate freedom?
Unless the grandmas, when left alone, draw way too much attention to themselves, there's no reason to keep the guy imprisoned in his own home (where, as the article notes, it's hard to keep him inside without restraining him indefinitely) instead of just kidnapping him and keeping him somewhere in a cell (or, heck, tricking him into going on a lengthy vacation somewhere) until the grannies vanish.
It's either
- keep him imprisoned and possibly restrained for decades until he dies
- or keep him in a cell for a finite time until the grandmas die.
The current procedures are sadistic for no real good reason.
Say — now that I think about it, why won't the Foundation target the grandmas themselves? Once infestation occurs, just send in men who will overpower and take away the "escaped elderly dementia patients" — they're just harmless old women, they don't exhibit super strength, they don't indefinitely keep teleporting back. So there's even less reason to harass the victim.
Because then they appear somewhere else, and the Foundation is engaged in an inordinately expensive game of whack-a-mole wherein they have to monitor for signs of anything that could be a 1911 infestation, identify its target, dispatch a team to engage in grammatorial combat, erase the memories of witnesses and the target (which could very quickly exceed several dozen), then do it all over again. That's not containment by any measure. That's an utter failure to establish any, instead responding reactively to manifestations. While 1911 maintains contact with a target, it doesn't relocate, and none of the above is necessary.
grammatorial combat
"You call that fighting, private? My GRANDMAS can be here in her 28 WHEELCHAIRS and she will whip the SHIT out of ALL of your asses and hand them to you on COOKIE TRAYS!"
Because then they appear somewhere else
Ah. Then the article should make it clear that only one appears at a time.
I'd been imagining "thirty" isn't the upper limit, just how many have been previously noted at the same time. There is no genuine upper limit. Sure a single MTF trooper can kill hundreds of the Grandmother Horde but there are potentially billions of them.
