Hmmm… this would be a very good chance for us to kick that off like we had talked about, Fortune. Should we? Pm me or catch me in chat to discuss it lol
I'm in. Been meaning to write a tale anyways.
SCP-1395 would work well for this, if anyone is interested. And not because I wrote it.
Yay a contest. Maybe I'll actually participate this time.
But i've already got four of these…

So try another tack on the challenge. Like I showed in the examples, there are a lot of different ways that you can approach SCPs interacting with time. And I do hope that you submit something, as I usually enjoy your material a lot.

I've been looking for a reason to start writing again…
So what happens if you start this contest, and then over the next couple weeks, a huge number of articles get posted, so we have to start up the 2000 slot contest? Can we really have two contests going at once? CAN WE HANDLE THE EXCITEMENT?
He's asking what would happen if, apart from this contest, people post a lot of SCPs and we need to start the 2000 contest while this is still going.
I'm not sure our bodies would be ready.
if your reading this your gay
What if the number of SCPs posted became so drastic that we have the 2000 and 3000 contest go on together
We need a block devoted just to bee SCPs.

Since there's currently around 160 open slots, I'd be seriously and sincerely impressed if we manage to get to 2k before the end of this contest. Hell, I'd be impressed if we hit that before Halloween. (Yes, you may take that as a personal challenge to you.)

Now we just need to get Tanhony going, and we can have a Battle of the Writer-Bots. It'll be like Rock'em Sock'em Robots, except the winner will be an even bigger nerd.
I once posted three SCPs and a tale in four days. So if I could continue this, and we get four other people to do this too, and they start the 2000 contest some time before we have all articles filled from 001-1999 (because after all, don't want to lock down new SCPs for almost a month while the contest runs), could be doable. Roget, Tanhony, Mackenzie, and Smapti, perhaps?
Barbra Streisand crossed out led me to know what Streisand effect is. Heh, ironic.
Internet rage!
That's not ironic, that's actually quite apropos!
However, the Streisand Effect itself is ironic!
I'm left uncertain as to whether this possible misuse of irony in relation to an ironic concept is ironic in and of itself, and what's worse, I've just found ten thousand spoons when all I really need is a knife!
You know, for my entire life I was afraid to fly, and now I'm reading this on the airline's WiFi, and the plain's crashing.
Your fault, dick.
