So, I've recently started looking into a RPG system called GURPS, short for Generic Universal Role-Playing System, the games are interchangeable and the GM or game master can create an entire mixture of various worlds and characters to play with your friends.

Looking through a few world books, I suddenly started thinking of this Website, and the wiki. Then as what usually happens when I think for a while, my brain decided to merge the two things together, like it's done before (and that's always come out with very odd "fly-by-the-seat-of-your-pants" type fan fic crossovers).

So, now this could work, and I have the reference material to possibly make our own world book with illustrations, additional notes, crossovers with other world books, and character creation.

My question is, could we work on such a unusual project? I mean, I've seen fan-made world books, but could we do one similar to an actual world book?

NOTE: I'm sticking to the Third Edition as I've heard from some others that the Fourth Edition overcomplicates things.

Ok, so first, thank you Accel for the collapse.

Second my additional notes, I've looked through (mostly world books) show that in "GURPS Warehouse 23" sets up a setting like Warehouse 13 or in our case, the SCP Foundation.

It goes something like this:

There are five basic "lenses" though which to view the world of Warehouse 23: the Mundane, the Occult, the Fortean, and Conspiratorial, and (combining them all) the Illuminated.

So, that got me thinking that our world is a combination of those four "bench marks":

• The Mundane (That's the world that believes that all of this isn't real, that their lives are "normal")
• The Occult (That's the world where Ghost and spirits are real, faeries are out there, and we've kept a few gods out of the picture. And those sorcerers, we call them Bixbies)
• The Fortean (That's the world of the Loch Ness monsters, UFO and Flying Saucers from other worlds or even other dimensions, weird weather, and people can manipulate matter though Psionics NOTE: That's most of the stuff found in Tabloid papers), and finally…
• The Conspiracy (There are forces causing the bombings and kidnappings, planned by Shadow Governments and secret agencies, maybe even the banks and big corporations. NOTE: They won't always be right, but they know to a degree, hence the paranoia)

Our world would be described by the GURPS Worldbook as The Illuminated, as we know that gods, magic, psionics, advanced tech, and even aliens exist. Now the book also describes that the world you set up could have "Reality Shifts" due to these changes in perspectives. Like some of you believe in one or two versions of reality where some of SCP-001's proposals are real, and others are misleading. While others, believe (like myself) that ALL IS TRUE. Like a Conspiracy Kitchen Sink, but more focused and Foundation designed.

So, what do you think so far, also if we do make a fan-made GURPS, since we're not selling this, can we use the SCP-173 photo? Also, if anyone has played GURPS, and has either GURPS Illuminati and/or GURPS Warehouse 23, would like to help design the book, it would help. Both in research to match SCP Elements to GURPS Design, as well as helping work everything out.

The GURPSwiki now has a SCP Foundation section as well as a main page. In GURPS terms the Foundation is Black Ops and Warehouse 23. Someone has written up SCP-682 and a D&D inspired version of Tiamat (SCP-5866) is also there.
