So I figure I might issue a bit of challenge myself because it's fun. These aren't timed or anything, just a fun challenge to undertake if you wish it. I'll occasionally post new challenges it comes to me. Feel free to take these challenges as vaguely or as specific as you like.
Also mostly because I want to see more stuff done along these lines and I'm a deprived creep junkie
1st SCP Challenge: Roll 2 1d15. One of the two is what the object is associated with, the other is what the object's effect can be associated with. (eg. if I rolled a 7 and a 6, I can choose "Capricious" to be my object and "Home" my effect, or vice versa) Bonus points if it elicits an emotional/visceral response from the reader.
1st Tale Challenge: Write a story about or from the point of view of an SCP that invokes a completely different response from the reader than the SCP object it was based on. Bonus points for an SCP that either has not had a tale written about it before or an SCP not on the Top Rated Pages page.
