Hello folks, I present to you all a rewrite of the now deleted SCP-783 "Baba Yaga's Cottage". I hope I did it justice.

I enjoyed it, but if you would let me there's a bunch of line edits I want to make to improve the flow of the prose but it's possibly a bit more extensive than is friendly to do without permission. Please PM me if you want me to do it.

I'd like to give this a +1, but there are a number of verb tense issues here. For example, a description of a past event starts with past tense and then goes to present tense. There's also some odd phrasing, e.g. "It was found with the following sign which was tied to a nail on the door that is written in Old Russian"
