And now, a tale hub for our second-place-winning canon contest entry.
This is… a great hub page.
EDIT: Could use some writer's guide though.
"And the Lord spoke with a great voice, and He said; 'Shut the fuck up for ten seconds and I'll tell you.'"
Ahahahahahaha!
Hey… Smapti, Jekeled, Anax, Reject: Would you mind puttin' up a guide for aspiring contributors to this canon? Maybe some pointers for what you'd like to see? Personally, I'd find that very helpful, I doubt I'm the only one. XD
The part with the Lord saying shut the fuck up and ill tell you part was priceless.
I would love a guide on how to contribute to this cannon.
In retrospect, this has got to be the worst canon hub on the site in terms of telling you how to contribute. No guide for tone, no outline of major characters, the history of the setting, potential ideas for plot hooks, nothing. The content of the canon can be good, but the barrier for actually writing for it is damn near insurmountable, considering all of the original writers seem to have left the site.
Is it possible to create a contributor's guide if you aren't one of the original writers?
I believe that even if you are not one of the original writers, you can create one if you know really well the universe. But I'm not really sure, personally, so I'll recommand you to ask an admin about that.
I'll recommand you to ask an admin about that.
This would probably fall under the purview of the Rewrites Team, so contacting a site administrator is hardly necessary.
It'd probably be good form to contact some of the main contributors to the hub, if any are still active.
