Why are half the captions on the bottom and half on top?
The shopping really shows on the last two pictures. It's mostly that the eye area doesn't have the speckling that overlays everything else.

Still, quite creepy.

I didn't notice the caption orientation on first reading; the speckling effect could be duplicated on the edited photos by cloning the background and layering it over the face at reduced opacity. Otherwise this is pretty great.

And I did notice the subtle photoshopping on the second to last row. That kept me screaming after the initial shock

Literally didn't even realise the image had been replaced at first… not sure which I like better, but both work as well as they need to. Love this page.
