I… honestly don't fully get where people see the "silly" in this, other than maybe the Eye of the Tiger video (which I found more funny than needlessly silly, and let's face it, 90% of the Internet would do the exact same thing if they discovered they had a dog that could mimic their karate poses.) There's definitely some chilling moments in here, and even a bit of fridge horror. Have a look at the autopsy on the poor schmuck that first found this thing. Go back and look at the log for the dog that killed him. Agents confronted it, and it proceeded to kill two highly trained agents and wound four more before they were forced to shoot it. This isn't just a martial art that animals imitate and thereby become human-like. This is something that gives any animal the ability to break any human in half. I don't find the idea of a hamster that could break every single bone in my body before killing me funny, I find it beautifully terrifying.
I mean, it could stand with a bit of polish here and there, but pretty much every article on the site could have the same thing said about it initially. Definite upvote here.
