Endings. They are something of a rarity on our site, but when they are done right, there's nothing quite like them.

Very nice. Everybody is in character, and the text flows very well. The part about Lament was really touching. Not even poor Fred got away. Upvoted.

For anyone else who's having trouble, the key is that none of these are directly related. They're all different endings and epilogues. They're connected by theme, not subject matter.

I kind of like the idea of more things like this. Collected themes and all that. Could be interesting.
